i think 140 might even be too much for jmm to carry i think he was just about the right size to make 135.

imo he should go after nate campbell maybe at a catchweight of 138.

the fight makes sense, but as 1 of the threads says, hatton isnt even thinking about a comeback fight yet, and who knows what marquez will have done between now and the time that hatton comes back if he does come back.

Hatton is not Mayweather, but Marquez isn't Pacquaio. At 140 a lot of Marquez's advantages are written off, however, Hatton is also disadvantaged, because his excessive weight loss severely impacts on his punch resistance.

If Hatton can start brightly, and take Marquez's shots, then he has a good chance. A good, big money, and a potential classic fight.

JMM would clean out the 140lb division .... Period. Bradley would be a tough battle ... But I still would take JMM over most of the guys in the division.

Hatton would get killed against JMM.

I dont know, JMM only weighted in 142 and he looked slow, sluggish and out of shape.

I think he needs to go back to 135 and kick ass there.

Even Ricky hatton can give him fits at 140, do to teh size difference and styles of each fighter!!!!!!!!!

They need to leave Ricky alone.

What do you mean proves nothing? It proves who is the best out of two fighters who have both lost to Pacquaio, and Mayweather. A win for either would prove that the victor still belongs in the sport and should fight on.
