Comments Thread For: Canelo: I'm In My Prime Right Now; That's Gonna Be The Difference Against Golovkin

LAS VEGAS - If Canelo Alvarez actually considers Gennadiy Golovkin a faded, 40-year-old shell of what his rival once was, it wouldn't behoove the Mexican legend to point that out while he is trying to boost pay-per-view and ticket sales for their third showdown.

F*** Canelo. I used to loathe the behavior of FMJ and his arrogant BS, Canelo says: Hold my beer, Im gonna out FMJ FMJ. He got absolutely destroyed by Bivol and all he can do is rant. and deny. He gets beat by GGG twice IMHO, once for certain unless you're a fanboy. And now this "greatest Mexican fighter of all time who won't fight Mexicans wants to avenge his mental and emotional losses by beating an OLD MAN. He waited for the first fight until GGG was thought to be slipping and got his ass kicked and now he expects anyone other than FANBOYS to watch this calculated crap? and F*** the judges. There should be a prison cell waiting for his hand-picked judges the next time they cheat. once again F*** Canelo. Nowhere near an ATG..

I dunno if Canelo is in his prime but its crazy to think hes three years younger now than GGG was in their first fight.

One needs to be deluded to the highest order to think that age means nothing to a professional athlete. I mean, at the end of the day, we all know that prime lasts 15-20 years for athletes, right? Countless examples of athletes never fading at 40: Ali, Schumacher, Williams, Beckham. All performed like 25 year olds.

That must be ot, since Golovkin was already past his prime for the first fight.

Age does matter to Canelo. He wouldn't have taken this fight if Golovkin wasn't 40. The ageing out process didn't go as he planned the first two times. He's making sure of it this time like a punk.

Hopefully Golovkin knocks him out in the manner Canelo deserves.

How so? They are like 8 years apart there is no time when they both were in their prime at the same time.

Also GGG as favored at the time and doesn't have even close to the mileage Canelo does on his body

GGG fans just salty because they didn't get GGG in his prime against Canelo at 24 years old. Canelo 3 fight at MW the fought the P4P #1.
