If u are so in ur prime, when are u gonna fight someone else who is in their prime like David Benavidez??? U sound like u believe u will beat GGG because ur in ur prime and he's not, which indicates what's already obvious- that u try to purposely fight ppl only when u think it's to ur advantage, instead of just fighting whoever. Fight Benavidez ASAP, or retire in shame

Those odds seem a bit wide at 5-1, it should be narrower. Enjoy the fight, it's going to be a humdinger.

Someone in their prime, like Saunders, Smith, Jacobs, Plant or Bivol? Benevidez... currently ranked lower than any of those were when Canelo fought them.

GGG was fighting 99% bums in his prime. Waiting to cherry pick smaller guys coming up to middleweight. The former champs he fought were faded as hell. Then he waited for Andre Ward to retire to finally move up in weight. Anyone from 154-168lbs. doe. Once Borat the bum slayer retires, he won't be missed. Hopefully Canelo retires him tonight by stoppage.

Ggg waited for Ward to retire to move up - wtf? Ward retired years ago - get real! Only way he gets 3rd fight against Canelo is to move to 168 for first time in pro career. And Sergio Martinez and Cotto didn’t want anything to do with Ggg…same with Saunders. Canelo wasn’t challenging him after beating Cotto for the title. When the top Mws are duckn..who else was he supposed to fight?

Canelo starting to sound like Wacky Wilder more and more. Suppose waiting for Ggg to age 4 yrs and show obvious diminished skills wont factor in and be the difference in the fight. Canelo talking like the fans are gullible idiots.

So he basically admits that he is aging out a wilted ggg.

Saunders-a runner who can't punch. Callum Smith- A nervous fighter who choked under the lights, Jacobs- was absolutely not in his prime, Plant-a runner who can't punch a lick
(see Saunders), Bivol- a cherry pick from hell, who kicked his little red ass. Now he wants to sit out until September because he doesn't know who else to fight now that everyone is on him about fighting Benavidez. How the hell is Benavidez not qualified but Rocky Fielding, Avni Yildirim, drunken washed up Kovalev, soft hands Plant and baby jaw Saunders, Liam Stiff Smith, marijuana Chavez jr, Amir King Cuckold Khan were all better than Benavidez? Benavidez stops ALL of Canelo's opponents and he stops Canelo, too. You can't see the pattern here?? Canelo only fights guys who are smaller coming up, runners who can't punch, scared British punching bags who only come to survive, names that are past prime or drunk and washed up, and the one time he fought a young, live undefeated guy who comes to win in Bivol, he got his ass kicked and it wasn't even close. And he only went up to fight Bivol because that's how afraid he was to fight Benavidez who's in his same weight class, and has been calling him out forever. He knew if he lost to Bivol it would be a decision because he knew Bivol would box him, instead of going for the kill. He knew if he fought Benavidez, Benavidez fights to knock u out, and that if he lost, most likely it would be by a brutal KO, not a decision. He knew if he was beat up like that by a Mexican, he loses a lot of earning power and would be shamed into a rematch, where the same thing could happen again. The way he's set himself up by losing to Bivol, he can still claim to represent Mexico. He couldn't do that if he lost to Benavidez, and if he chose not to rematch him after being KO'd, well there goes his legacy as the Mexican idol and media darling, and he's just too afraid of that happening. That's why he should just retire in shame, instead of pulling a Mayweather-like semi-retirement move while claiming injuries, in hopes that the landscape changes, so he can see how to cherry pick his way back into the game around Benavidez once again, and steal some more easy paydays. He's hoping Benavidez loses while he's in hiding, but that's not going to happen. So Canelo, for the sport of boxing, the eyes of the entire universe is watching ur every move! You either have to face this man, the man we can all see that u are very hesitant to step into the ring with -- David Benavidez, or retire in shame. Period!!!!
