Why did Errol Spence pull off a “Canelo” and waited till Terrence Crawford is 35yrs old to finally grow a spine and fight him? Canelo did the same thing to GGG and avoided him until GGG turned 35.

I see Errol Spence is taking a page out of Canelo’s playbook.

Crawford really hasn't taken a beating vs. dishing them out. I think it's more the 12-month ice bath vs. 2 active warm-up fights he would have had with Top Rank. They are banking on some kind of ring rust like Fury had vs Wilder in the 1st fight, just to keep Spence in the fight when the post-12-round rigged cards are read.

Spence's resume > Crawford's. While Crawford was cherry picking bums and faded former champs his entire career, Spence was beating top welterweights and unifying. Spence's tuneup fight after his car wreck was a better opponent than Crawford was fighting. The real ducker was Crawford hiding out with the Top Rank protection program and ESPN exclusivity. He even re-signed with Top Rank and ESPN exclusivity to duck the top welterweights. I guess getting dropped by a Eurobum Lituanian turnip farmer might make a guy second guess fighting top guys though. Crawford needed a mandatory just to fight ready to retire Shawn Porter ffs.

Golovkin still beat him though at 35.

At 36, Canelo's results were only slightly better.

GGG cherry picked bums and faded former champs until he was 35. I guess hype job cherry pickers take the route of easy $ until they can cash out. GGG was scared sheeitless to move up after saying anyone from 154-168lbs. Andre Ward had Lil G sheeiting himself.

I dont know who is to blame but i+as we all know its just standard practice to get fights years later than they should have happened, and usually with one or both guys getting old.

Crawford is turning 35 at the end of the month and Spence will be 33 in March. It's not even a 2 and a half year difference. Not that big of a deal. Crawford also wasn't in a near death car accident so they're about even surely...

                Why do yall do this?

As if 1 guy wasn't in a horrific car accident, and hasn't been fighting the better competition.

I respect both guys. Just enjoy the fight...
