They both have guarantees with Spence jr receiving more couple with a bilateral rematch clause. That mean the lose gets to automatically exercise that clause and the winner gets the rematch lions shareOriginally posted by champion4ever View PostWhich is why they are going have to create enough interest with the casual fan in order to help sell this fight. From what I am hearing neither guy is receiving a guarantee.
They are both getting paid a percentage of the fight's gross; Which is why it is very crucial and important for both of them and their teams to help sell and promote this fight to the buying public.

It was just a rumor I heard that’s all. I am glad that Team Crawford has finally come to their senses.Originally posted by T.M.T View PostThey both have guarantees with Spence jr receiving more couple with a bilateral rematch clause. because there would have been no way for them to try and strong arm Al Haymon at the bargaining table with no leverage, large fan base or loyal followers.
From the sounds of things Al was about to walk but that’s when Team Crawford finally capitulated and acquiesced and agreed to all of the terms.

Spence has the accident/injury excuse. Crawford has the aging/declining excuse.Originally posted by Greenfield02 View PostFinally!.... To bad this fight took this long to make, before I would of said Spence would beat Crawford, but now, post auto accident and the eye issue Spence had, I would say Crawford will probably win, I just don't think Spence is 100% anymore, at this point we are probably getting 80% of what he once was, that might be good enough to beat Crawford who still has a lot to prove, but as fan's, we are lying to ourselves if we think that those issues haven't affected Spence body in on way or another.

Yes, I think it's a given that Spence can't be 100% of what he was before the crash. Noone could.Originally posted by Greenfield02 View PostFinally!.... I thought Spence looked just fine in his last bout. Like Crawford he was fighting a counter puncher and ate a great deal of counters in the process because he was going for the TKO stoppage.Originally posted by tokon View Post

Therefore, he was willing to get hit, fight and exchange punches with Ugas in order to get the stoppage victory. However, he yet still broke Ugas in half by doubling him over with body shots.
In addition, to breaking both his nose, ribs and eye socket.

Absolutely agree with you they should stack the card make it an insane event for fans get them back into big time boxing events with great match ups all the way down the cardOriginally posted by Szef View PostThis has the potential to be an exciting fight
They need to stack the undercard, this is a big chance for boxing to gain new fans
Make up for floyd/Pac
But we know they won't do that ..
Crawford, Spence and all their teams managers etc will take a huge slice of pie and with what's left they will stick a bunch of Mexican tomato cans and cab drivers vs their prospects
