Crawford not facing tip top dangerous comp ruined him, you only get sharp and better from the competition you face, and Crawford has been complacent where Spence kept elevating

Spence is just too good, he is big, strong, fast and southpaw he is a smart fighter who has amazing conditioning he was throwing punches non stop with Ugas, nobody ever made Ugas look like that.

Ugas also goes into a shell and doesn't counter in between his opponents punches and he doesn't use his footwork in any meaningful way. It's much more complex that you're making it

Boths sides are going to have to work very hard in order to sell this fight because that was the original sticking point; Terence Crawford's guarantee.

They will have to create an interest, buzz and a stir among casual fans in order to least break even on this fight because Al Haymon lost a lot of money on that Canelo/Plant PPV fight.
I was talking about promotion. Neither one is a huge star outside the sport.

Just saw this thread. I am a boxing fan. Until the tickets start getting sold, I am not getting overly excited.

Ok. Maybe just a little excited. But I swear THAT IS IT!!!

Which is why they are going have to create enough interest with the casual fan in order to help sell this fight. From what I am hearing neither guy is receiving a guarantee.

They are both getting paid a percentage of the fight's gross; Which is why it is very crucial and important for both of them and their teams to help sell and promote this fight to the buying public.

                  Pacquiao-Thurman
                  Ugas-Spence

You are absolutely right. Which is why GBP should consider merging with the PBC because Al Haymon has it going on! Then don't forget about Davis vs Romero. That fight was huge at the Barclays Center. It was like a who's who of celebrities at that fight. It seems like every famous person from every walk of life was in attendance to watch that fight before a sell out crowd of more than 20,000 people.
