WBA is allied with PBC and they're saving Eimantas for Ennis. And why does WBA have to be petitioned for this?

I'll assume you're not joking and leave this here. Avenysian has been going backwards recently, his last couple of opponents have been awful (if you check boxrec), and he's supposed to be defending his EBU title next time out. Who knows why he signed with Queensbury if he wanted to fight decent Welterweights.Comment

They better play by the rules instead of showing any favoritism or being "allied with PBC."

I was surprised Crowley couldn't take out a waaay over-the-hill Josesito in his last fight, assuming it happens, Stanionis should have more than enough (but I suppose Crowley could take due to bad scoring on the cards).Comment

Because the WBA is a POS. This secondary title should not exist to begin with. They are supposed to be eliminating these secondary titles, not enforcing boxers to fight for them.Comment

This is the only reason GBP petitioned for the fight. They don’t want Einantas vs Boots on the Spence Crawford card. Last thing Oscar wants is everyone praising pbc for a stacked card.Comment

Give Spence a date for a mandatory to be made - say, end of October - maybe that will concentrate his mind to get the unification over the line. Same deal with Crawford, I'm all in for that fight but there's other good fights to be made - in fact I'd rather see Boots-Crawford as I reckon its a better style match-up and bring out supernova skill setsComment

Ill cut Ortiz some slack because he already KOd a fighter who KOd Avanesyan (whose claim to fame is beating Josh Kelly). But yes, Ortiz Avenysian would be a fun fight, but so would a fight against Stanionis, who has a great win over Butaev.Comment
