Fighters are going to have a few here and there like this with Hearn for obvious reasons like i've stated. But mostly they're going to either be fighting the best or looking to fight the best. That is not the case for the likes of Charlo and Benavidez and the rest of the PBC slops. Fights like this is a constant thing with them. When they're offered big fights, they run and fight their bums. Benavidez was offered Callum Smith and Andrade only to turn them down. This bullshlt about him wanting the best is just that... Bullshlt.
They were promoted and carried like big events. I not giving excuses for Charlo, Benavides or Plant. They have opportunities to step it up and they won't. None of them make a solid case for themselves to be in the running for bigger fights.

Being "Promoted as big events" doesn't change any of the facts stated. However, none of those fights were. They just had a fighter who could sell tickets.

Wasn’t one of the Fury-Wilder fights on ESPN? Wernt they all a joint venture with pbc/showtime? Turned out to be one of the highest money making trilogies ever

Gggis obviously a good fight for Canelo no one argues that, unifying with plant was a statement as well. But let’s not act like Canelo hasn’t had some easy matchups with young Edward. The only reason Edward is saying this is because he wants Canelo to stay with him fighting on the deadzone so he can be relevant in the usa. Without Canelo, Hearn has NOTHING

Did he have a long term deal. PBC fighters always say they don’t, and I haven’t seen Charlo state he has.

Jermall Charlo is a promotional free agent and not tied down to a specific broadcaster in the long term

Imagine Canelo vacating his belt when you were his mandatory, and Cinnabon given the franchise belt to avoid you. Charlo didn't want Andrade and turned him down as revenge for Andrade vacating his belt to avoid him at 154 when Boo Boo thought that he was the bigger name. Imagine GGG ducking you for almost 7 years as you continue to call him out.

Wrong. There was no way for Canelo to fight Charlo, because Charlo was a nobody that refused to step outside of PBC island. He had no choice but to vacate as Canelo actually had network obligations. PBC did not negotiate in good faith. You’re on crack if you think Haymon was willing to send Charlo to get stomped on DAZN for a Canelo payday instead of on his network. Haymon as per usual, cares more about his company than his fighters. Hiding or declining mega-paydays for his fighters is nothing new for him. As long as it doesn’t work as part of his grand strategy they can rot (as Charlo currently is) for all he cares.

And Charlo passing up 7mil for him and his family just to spite Andrade is just Lol.

Janibek just got the belt like a month ago, give him a minute. Charlo has been saying unifying or undisputed is his goal for the longest, so I'm sure that he will fight him soon because Janibek said Charlo's name immediately after the fight. Charlo already had a fight scheduled but hurt his back in training camp, so we'll see whether he still keeps that opponent or goes after Alimkhanuly.

Its also a shame that opponents are vacating belts when they are the mandatory, and other champions in the division flat out refusing to fight them to unify. At that point, they forced to fight mandatory fighters and top contenders in the sanctioning body of their belt.

LOL you are comparing the GREAT Jenibek to Munguia, Charlo, Saunders, Canelo, Benavidez (Dad and manager on a video posted they'd need 7 million to fight Andrade) and GGG Equity Protection. BTW, Parker has more fights, is bigger with a higher KO %, and is the segway to a Canelo mandatory regardless if Canelo vacates again. All of those guys were available and more or less offered money or were on the same network with Andrade to make a fight. Then again, only one of them has a Central Asian name so that makes their careers worthless vs. the cash cow and career definer the GREAT Jenibek. Get outta here!
