Why is it that people are always making excuses for the reasons why Canelo isn't fighting Charlo and Benavidez? If their names keep coming up and they are top tier in their divisions, then they obviously have already made themselves relevant and deserving of the fight. Yes, they could fight each other, but they could also fight Cinnabon. If he's willing to give the fight to Yildirim and Fielding, what's the hold up for these two much more talented boxers? Did Fielding and Yildirim have to fight each other first? Corruption and ducking at its finest on full display, but we have diehard Ginger fans defending it, meanwhile the rest of us don't get the fights that we truly want to see to determine whose better.

I agree with both guys not having a signature win but Hearn matches up his fighting equally or worst.

I agree, but everyone's at fault here, including Canelo for saying he doesn't want to fight Benavides. All that said, Charlo had had his opportunities to prove himself and has taken a different direction, Benavides and Charlo need to fight each other and stop waiting for a payday.

I disagree, Charlo wanted all the smoke when he first became Canelo's mandatory, but Cinnabon vacated his belt and was given the franchise belt to avoid him. Charlo fought for the vacant belt and won, then immediately called out GGG. To this day, GGG has ducked him. Jermall wouldn't give Andrade the fight as payback for when Andrade vacated his belt to avoid him at 154 when Andrade felt like he was the bigger name. He and Benavidez are going to fight after Charlo moves up, when Jermell moves to 160. He has defeated every mandatory, knocking out most of them, and still wants a chance to unify or become undisputed at 160, but time is running out. GGG has made it obvious that he is not going to fight him, so his best hope is to unify by beating Alimkhunaly before Jermell moves up. But, in my opinion, he beats the brakes off of Benavidez and Plant when he moves up. I believe at some point though, the politics of vacating belts and boxers avoiding him were getting to him.

Any normal folk could have said the same thing about Charlo. It's unfortunate that he still has enablers making excuses for him. There's nothing worst.

Charlo definitely wants Canelo or Munguia, but he wants no part of Benavidez! Charlo, Morrell Jr, and Plant, all have excuses for why they don't want to fight David Benavidez Jr., and I'm very disappointed in all 3 of them! MAN UP!

Canelo has fought the best period. Charlo has had his moments and Benavidez's moment will come. Would love nothing more than to see Charlo take on Andrade but it will never happen it's a shame.

Damn. Golovkin and Canelo, considerably more proven fighters than Charlo, ducked Charlo. You got any examples of a PBC champ going over to a rival network to unify? Charlo was a free agent right? I know Canelo wasn’t at the time. Golovkin probably neither.
