I'm not a huge Canelo fan, but have to admit he clearly won the 2nd fight against Golovkin.

Two of the judges who were used on the Canelo Bivol fight are being used on this one. Unless GGG gets a ko or clearly beats the dogchit out of Canelo, he ain't winning.

its settled, GGG showed he is the better fighter already. if canelo does better its because GGG is old, he showed against bivol he hasnt improved one bit in recent years

Exactly. You can't rewrite history. No matter what happens it doesn't change the fact that GGG was screwed in at least one if not both fights... If Canelo beats the **** out of a 40 year old version it doesn't change the fact that he couldn't convicingly beat or even hurt him in two previous fights (where GGG was also already past his prime). If GGG wins it still doesn't change the scoring or results in the previous fights. Let's face it, anything is possible but if GGG couldn't beat Canelo convincingly twice before what does anyone think he's going to do now? I'll certainly be pulling for him but I can't see him not taking a beating. I hope I'm wrong but I don't think it's how anyone wants to see him go out.

The fact that he lost the fight? We were all 110% rooting for Canelo that night and we all knew he lost that fight, sorry. And Oscar was way too quick to blow off the idea of a rematch after the fight.

It shall be the finale, an exciting trilogy fight, and both are very well rewarded financially.

Canelo is likely to get the win, but it's no foregone conclusion at all. I think it goes the distance again, and I'd be surprised if there was one knockdown.

Who's "we?" I watched it back a couple months ago and still think Canelo won it clean. Lara had his moments, but he didn't do enough to win more than 4-5 rounds max. Lara has that tricky Cuban style, but his problem is also that he fights like a Cuban (meaning that he does a bit of flash then coasts most of the round). Lara landed pretty much nothing but jabs. He didn't win that fight.

GGG in first fight: Shadow boxing, practice for hitting air, eating clean power punches all night long.

GGG in second fight: Getting massively punished by every single power punch to his ugly face and body.

Rivalry is already over. GGG's only arsenal is high output to keep it competitive. Canelo was better man in all areas. This fight is just the last massive beating and payday for GGG.

I scored the first two fights for GGG but this time I know Canelo will KO or TKO GGG within 7 rounds. Unfortunately for us the fans, Golovkin is now too old and in their second fight, he was gassed after 6-7 rounds and this time he will get gassed within 4 rounds.
