Comments Thread For: Hearn on Making Hrgovic-Anderson: Bob Arum Can Say He Will But He Wouldn't; Would Be Mismanagement

Eddie Hearn isn't convinced that a fight between his charge Filip Hrgovic and Jared Anderson, the up-and-coming contender promoted by rival Top Rank, is a realistic matchup given where both fighters are at this point in their respective careers.

I don't see bright future for Hrgovic after Zhang fight. He almost lost and Zhang is nowhere near top 15

I don't think Anderson is ready, he still has to step up his competition and Hrgovic has more experience. His record doesn't reflect that pro series.

Hrgovic hasn’t exactly lit it up either. Has some wins over journeymen but his performance against Jimmy Wang Yang sent his biggest fan on BS into hiding…

I like both guys, but I agree with Hearn. Too early for Anderson, Hrgovic can take a punch and Jared is open to get hit.

After they're last performances both will be fighting sideways for some time to come. Hrgovic was so disappointing with all the hype, Ed has another big wooden heavyweight, he definitely has a type. Anderson has time yet needs to learn to box & not just scrap against can's he has no fear of.

Hrgovic looked absolute shyte in his last fight , I'd hoped for much better he's not going to be around for long. Anderson is young and inexperienced but on that last Hrgovic performance I would pick Anderson to beat him.

                Eddie Hearn talking about mismanagement?

Usyk duped Hearn and Team Joshua with the way he fought Chisora…walked them into a trap.

Mismanagement Eddie? I thought DAZN execs wanted you to shut your mouth???

Hrgovic is a good fighter but he faced a live body last time in Zhilei Zhang. A southpaw and my opinion Hrgovic should have lost the fight. But he won
