He's definitely levels above AJ in every sense but I still feel I'd need to see more of Lewis showing me he could potentially handle such a style and gifted fighter in Usyk.

I think it could well come down to Usyk simply seeing similar albeit noway near as good opposition as Lewis than vice versa. Its difficult for me because Lewis never fought a southpaw and possibly I have to assume for good reason let alone one as complex as Usyk who certainly has the skillset, speed and such to take away a lot of Lewis' tools and to negate a lot of what made him so great or key factors as to why I imagine fans would assume Lewis would have such success.
There is a lot more southpaw sparring today than back when Lewis was active. Preparation may have been even more difficult back then.

            AJ folds mentally

He fought Usyk like he was scared.

He did a little bit better the second fight.

Lewis isnt mentally weak like that. He can also pace himself better. He beats Usyk, either by KO or forces Usyk to take few risks where he loses a decision.

              Lewis.

But tbf, Lewis also beats Fury, AJ, Wilder and everyone else today. The heavies of today will have to do a lot more to prove they belong in that class imo. Starting with Undisputed.

Thats what I'm saying. I like Usyk and all, but people are way too hgih on Usyk right now. Anybody that thinks Usyk does good, really DKSAB. Lewis was from the golden age of HW's and beat some of the ATG's we'll ever see. Especially the Lennox before he got fat.

Lewis by KO in 5 rounds.

Lennox wouldn't be afraid to make it a rough fight and he would be far too physically strong for little Usyk to handle.

But Lewis is 'significantly better in every way' than AJ

Superb and controlling distance with his lead hand

                    Backhand like a sledgehammer

He can fight on the inside too
                    - - No he ain't. Not a single unified defense, giving up every belt he ever owned to his mandatories.

Lewie one punched to Bolivia x2, the Queen's finest China

Little gave him hell and he barely showed vs little Field in their first fight.

What grade was U in then?

I highly doubt that if he beat southpaws easy he would have fought them in his own era .

I don’t think anyone has an easy fight with Usyk outside Mike Tyson stylistically . I’d give Lewis the edge because he held and hit a lot and he’d have to in this one .
