Tszyu is so right. Pacman is in a world of trouble and i think after sat fight every

Everyone is now really starting to see the light. All the hype of manny pac is starting to come down and everyone is starting to see the truth that weight classes are there for a reason. Pacman is a great offensive fighter with great speed but that will not be enough to beat cotto. I only hope manny doesnt get too much taken out of him with cotto. I wanna see floyd do that to pacman. I know freddie roach was ****ting bricks when he saw saturday s fight.

This is gonna be a more competitive fight than the Mayweather and Marquez fight. 1. Cotto does not hit and run, him and Pacman will duke it out. 2. Pacman has speed and power, he's no Malinagni. 3. Pacman is not slow and not going up in weight too fast like Marquez did, and it showed in his fight. 4. both of them are in thier prime.

over him like a bull. Cotto takes some pretty hard flush

            a flawless performance.
thats the way I see it......I dont see how Manny is gonna stop the bull rush ....Cotto took flush shots from way bigger dudes so if Manny thinks Cotto wont be able to walk through his fire then he's wrong!!.....not sayin' Pac cant burn him its just I dont think he'll be able to blaze him like he did in his last 2 victims!!

I think Pac would capitalize with his speed to destroy Cotto's strenght, before Cotto would use his strenght to struck Pac for KO. I think Pac would win this as long as Cotto would honor the contracted catchweight at 145lbs! And Pac have a good chance of winning too against PBF should PBF weighted 145lbs during scaling.

Cotto is no PBF. He will honor the contracted weight. Its now clearly obvious that Mayweather had no intention to ever weigh 144 and Marquez was happy to take the 600k.

Now, regarding your main argument I agree that Cotto cannot go in there thinking he can simply out-point (out-box is i think what you mean) Pac and I'm confident Cotto won't go in there thinking that. I do think that Cotto might end up out-pointing (UD) Pac though and let me explain. If Cotto wins by decision its going to be due to a a consistent brutal attack that might include one or more knock downs - flash or otherwise. Pac has a decent chin - though we'll see how it holds up against a real, prime WW - so he might survive the whole thing. I still believe that its going to end in either a 9th/10th/11th KO or stoppage either by the ref or Roach himself a la Penalosa. Cotto's win might happen sooner but I respect Pac way to much to actually predict it. Looking forward to setting up some bets in the next couple of weeks.

                PD: Nice post overall though.

In addition, going back to any PBF - Marquez comparisons (weak at best) it was obvious that Marquez not only could not establish the distance for him to win, but that he just did not have the talent to close the ring off. That is the X factor in the Cotto-Pac fight that nobody is talking about. Pac is fast etc...but Cotto is a ring general and he will slowly close that ring off and then break him down.

How is PAC going to hurt Cotto? Did anyone see the PBF vs JMM? JMM hit Mayweather and he laughed compared to a legit WW. MP can hit MC flush and wont budge! Please understand this: Margacheato hit MC with BRUTAL shots and never got knocked out! If COTTO fought JMM that will be a massacre! The guy who ROCKED MP at a lower weight class! Team PAC dreams in the WW have been shattered after seeing how Marquez tickled PBF. Roach will stop the fight in 4, MP is not big enough to take COTTO's shots.

PISSED off at PBF!!! Eventhough the layoff PBF should of KO'd JMM to make a point! The days of fighting smaller guys and getting paid are over. PBF got played on TV and placed in a bad spot! If PBF wants to get PAID (Which he needs) in any of his future fights it will have to be against a LEGIT WW! COTTO will take care of MP and will leave PBF a bad choice ( COTTO or MOSLEY) HMMM??? That's a bad fight for PBF with either fighters. The question will be: Will PBF fight either fighter for his next fight?

Seeing Mayweather handle Marquez like that puts serious questions on what, if anything Pac can do with Cotto. Cotto put Cottey down with a straight jab, Clottey is very rugged. Cotto got hammered with "loaded" gloves from a wide wingspan, taller, more leveraged forward walking cinder block in Margarito. Plus he's has boxed toe to toe with the great Mosley and super Zab Judah (who for 4 rounds was as quick as Mayweather) I think a good boxer beats a good fighter and a good stronger boxer beats a good lighter fighter consistently. Pac needs a string of great connects to do anything substantial.
