Now that the Marquez/Mayweather fight is over reality sets in of fighters fighting in a higher weight. Fighting a prime WW for Pac I always metioned that its gonna be trouble. If Pac pulls it out it we would be watching one of the greastest fighters of our era. IMO I give the edge to Cotto cause his size and previous fights against big heavy handed WWs.

No, he was with the Dancing with the Stars, a reality tv show for the celebrity, just like floyd did before. He was doing this even before he fought Hatton. He was a part time celebrity and a boxer. :-)

Who also said Hatton would beat FMJ...Taken with a grain of salt.

Saturday showed a much higher skill level than weight.

Tszyu says Cotto is bigger because on fight night, Cotto won't show up as a corpse, he'll be fully hydrated, and that's about 157 lbs or more...and don't let weight be the issue, im tired of pacquia getting ****** off because he beats up "bigger" guys but since Mayweather whooped Marquez they wanna be harsh to Floyd, it ain't right, Mayweather won simply because he's the better and more superior fighter, thats it!

Even Team Pacquiao admitted that this is not an easy fight for Pacman, roach even mentioned that Cotto is like KING-KONG, w/c for me its quite true coz Cotto is bigger than Pac. Though they seem look same in size but the bone structure of Cotto is far more bigger than Pac. Pac & roach admitted that Cotto will be the biggest fight ever and they are not taking it lightly. It's like David and Goliath?

Wrong! if Cotto plan to just out point Pac he's in serious trouble! He should KO Pac otherwise Pac would out point Cotto! Cotto will be dealing a fast Pac and absolutely not a total copy of PBF-JMM fights!

I think Pac would capitalize with his speed to destroy Cotto's strenght, before Cotto would use his strenght to struck Pac for KO. I think Pac would win this as long as Cotto would honor the contracted catchweight at 145lbs! And Pac have a good chance of winning too against PBF should PBF weighted 145lbs during scaling.

True hardcore boxing fans think that Marquez won both Pacquiao fights yet Marquez got schooled on Saturday night by a naturally bigger, stronger and faster natural welterweight.

The same will happen to Paquiao. Pacquiao's punches won't phase Cotto like Marquez punches never hurt Mayweather. Mayweather is not even a power puncher. When Pacquiao feels Cottos powerful jab and left hook, it's lights out for little Pac. This fight should definitely give Cotto confidence. In fact, Cotto should hire Marquez as a sparring partner.... LOL.
style makes a fight and cotto is no pbf. cotto is not invincible either, he will be caught by a pac's straight left or uppercut much the same way as cotto will land his daunted left hook and jab against the pacman. but in no way that this fight will be a one-sided just like the pbf-jmm fight.

It's already a given fact even right after JMM called out Floyd. But the thing is you cannot remove the Weight (and height) difference in the equation that's why boxing has weight divisions.

Still, I give props to JMM for his courage in calling out and fighting Floyd, even if the odds are against him.

What I can't comprehend with Floyd is that, yes he's a great boxer, indeed, and he showed it time and time again. But, if he is truly a GREAT boxer why is it he's not calling the top WWs? And according to him, he's not calling who he's gonna fight next but rather it should be the other fighter(s) that should call him out. Just like JMM did, unfortunately. Now, the top WWs are calling him and he seems deaf of these calls. Is this an irony or what?
