    Bringer,

Do you feel that Floyd added ten pounds of lean muscle since the Hatton fight?

Gonna say one thing. Why did Mayweather look faster then he did against DLH/ Hatton? We're talking 2 year layoff here.

The idea that Mayweather added ten pounds of lean muscle since the Hatton fight is beyond ludicrous.

He is both lean and dark-skinned*. Both factors exacerbate the visual impression that he is bigger than Marquez.

*Yes. there's a reason why bodybuilders apply dark tans.
Exactly, most of these guys are ******ed obese fat rednecks that have no idea how muscle mass works.

Long ago when I started training I added more than 25lbs of muscle to my physique and believe me, 10lbs of muscle was so noticeable that it was literally transformative of my physical image.
It is obvious to even a ****** that Mayweather's BODY FAT % stays consistent and was pretty much the same in most of his fights so the only thing that's left to size up is his muscle. The ONLY muscle difference were noticeable increases in bicep size and lats/back muscle commensurate with a total at MOST of about 4-6lbs of muscle.
Adding 10 lbs or more of muscle PBF would look more like Jeff Lacy. They are roughly the same size (around 5'8 both) and Jeff fought often in the 160's which is what Floyd would weigh according to people that claim he added over 10lbs of muscle.

By comparison. Both of those guys are faster than Marquez.

I realized that JMM has no foot speed at all.

Hard to say ; considering we don't know his fight night weight vs. Ricky Hatton, either....

Their assertion is that Floyd was somewhere between Shane Mosley (at 154) and Joshua Clottey last night.

That is what 5;8" and 160+ looks like

Ignore the hatton weight for a moment. But do you feel that he was ten pounds MORE?

                x + 10?

Floyd looked about 154-155, he has filled out a bit since the layoff

                  Marquez was 148 wasn't he

Floyd was bigger definitely, but the size difference was accentuated by the fact that Floyd is naturally very muscular, and darker skinned people generally show muscle tone better

I agree, its a clear red flag. There is no reason not to jump on the scale unless you know it will reveal something embarrassing.

I personally, I would bet money that Floyd walked into the ring weighing AT LEAST 156lb if not more.

Lol, that is sig worthy right there. Lacy has been 180+ in the ring for some time now.

As for the thread, we don't know what Floyd weighed in the ring. 152 sounds about right, which is about 10 lean pounds heavier than Marquez, who was 141 in the ring against Diaz.
