I don't understand what Hearn does not understand? Wilder is part of the PBC, which has contracts to FOX and SHO, to produce content for them. Hearn is MatchRoom, which has contracts to DAZN, to produce content for them? Obviously PBC would prefer to make Wilder vs. Ruiz, should they both win, rather than send Wilder to fight Joshua on DAZN! The only way that fight is going to happen is for DAZN and Haymon/Finkel make a deal, and that conversation would be above Eddie Hearn! It's no different than Charlo and Munguia! Oscar said if DAZN is not involved, no fight! Same situation here! The problem for Hearn is that PBC has options for Wilder, like Ruiz and Sanchez! Finkel has already worked with Waeren and Arum too! Hearn, on the other hand, does not have many options for Joshua, without PBC, or Warren, or Arum!

any offer from Hearn is going to be for at least 2 fights, tying Wilder up for a year or more on a rival network. I think the reason the last offer was turned down was because it was 3-4 fights. Nobody wants to tie their career up like that.

Problem with this Hearn fellla is he just can't wait to let the other side make their first move.
He just had to make the first move in a hasty manner. He always end up being taken as some devil by immature people.

Obviously, Hearn had read the Finkel fella's thought about revisiting the Joshua vs Wilder fight:

Wilder Manager: A Joshua Fight is Enormous Even If He Loses To Usyk

Even in the first negotiations. Hearn ended up making enormous effort to make the fight when the Wilder was initially
begging for the fight considering his highest purse at that time was $2 million.

This Hearn fella is not learning any lesson.

Why would Wilder or his team start talking about Joshua when they have a fight at hand?

I think for any fight between Wilder and Joshua, two things need to be clear:
              1. The split between the two fighters, not just an amount for Wilder, and
              2. Whether the fight will be split between broadcasters and is not on DAZN exclusive.

I don't think any deal can be reached without these two things being settled. Yes, you can sit down and talk about the venue, ring walks, gloves, etc. but there will hardly be any talk without these two things being clear.

Wilder was right. If Hearn thought Joshua would beat Usyk, they would have either had a trilogy or Joshua would have had to face his mandatory.

DAZN is sinking. Hearn is looking to make at least one or two big cash-out fights for Joshua and dealing with Wilder is all he has until Fury frees up again.

All that dodging when Wilder and Joshua was the fight to be made, and now look at you, Eddie.

This, this to the Nth Degree. Boxing will indeed be better off without him. At the very least he should just look to his base in the U.K. and stop thinking he is anything more than a domestic promoter

And he knows this, he’s just doing what he always does, beef with pbc fighters who won’t let him control his career. How many times have we seen Hearn ridicule American fighters who fight for pbc for not signing to fight on dazn. Hearn is under pressure to make fights for dazn, his content lags behind DLH for American interest. Americans don’t care about eggington vs cheeseman type fights in places like Bootle. They just don’t. Hearn flies off the handle because he truly believes he is entitled to have people prop him up. He knows pbc has content agreements with showtime and fox, that’s why he went on about “showtime won’t be in the sport” talk. He’s always wanted to diminish pbc especially, he’s always targeted Haymon fighters.

And yet the biggest fights in last 5 years are made by him. This is a plain example that hatred really makes people completely dense.
