Comments Thread For: Hearn Responds To Wilder About Joshua Deal: 'On What Planet Would You Not Even Ask What That Offer Is?'

Eddie Hearn says he was genuinely befuddled by Deontay Wilder's latest comments directed at him. The British promoter revealed a few weeks ago that he had reached out to Wilder's longtime handler, Shelly Finkel, about a lucrative fight deal that he had for Wilder to face Anthony Joshua. Hearn, however, said he never heard back from Finkel.

Hearn is a disgrace to boxing. When he retires boxing will become a better place and you’ll actually see the big fights getting made. This guy can’t make big fights to save his life

It's as plain as day and Hearn knows it. When Wilder was WBC champion Hearn offered him $15m of a pot of at least $100m which equals 15% at best with the other 85% going to himself and Joshua(lol) Even a mandatory without a title normallyWilder and gets 25%!.Prior to this Joshua made the statement that if they offered him $50m 'he would sign tomorrow" they did and he didn't! even with the money assured (which Hearn admitted to)! ....... Joshua has some domestic battles on the cards but is out of the real picture and Wilder is right Hearn thought that Joshua would lose again as did most and wanted some kind of insurance policy as Wilder is number one WBC contender.Edward should listen to his own dad who back in the days before the Ritz demolition job on Joshua he let slip' if Joshua doesn't fight Wilder for the next ten years , I'D TAKE THAT!.

Wilder and Finkell have been messed about enough by idiot Eddie and are in no rush to do him and his robot any favours.

Outside of a title fight, Joshua is the biggest fight Wilder can make.

It is a bigger fight than Wilder vs Ruiz Junior.

I also think tactically, Joshua could actually get to Ruiz Junior before Wilder does.

A great fight for Joshua to make is the Ruiz Junior III fight etc.

I actually believe Hearn , that’s a first for me
Wilder seems to not wanna give in to anything to Hearn and it’s starting to sound personal which it shouldn’t be
Late it is and honestly the intrigue has blown away for me
