Anybody think that Cotto would've quit against Floyd if he was in JMM's position

Maybe I'm being a little too hard on Cotto, but people need to take into consideration that Cotto has never fought a guy with the defensive and counter punching ability of Mayweather. People automatically assume that Cotto's will wouldn't get broken in this fight because Floyd doesn't fight in an aggressive style, but where is Cotto's wind power going to be if he constantly misses his punches? The fact that Floyd's stamina is worlds apart from Cotto is why this is an easy fight to pick for me. People say that Mayweather is a runner, but he stands in the pocket and makes his opponent miss. Cotto goes into full retreat mode when he gets exhausted.

Floyd's also never faced a top prime Welterweight who can punch and box. His best opponent at WW was Zab Judah.

What some people fail to realize is the Marquez fight was made for Floyd to look good, it's his anchor to sell more tickets in his next fight. But in no way would Floyd fight Mosley or Cotto the same as he did with Marquez. They have the size to put pressure on Floyd (which he hates). Not saying he loses to both, but it's a completely different scenario.

I think that Cotto would definitely give Floyd a better fight than JMM did. I'm not that biased. I'm just saying that since JMM's stamina is better than Cotto's that that is the reason why he didn't get knocked out or stopped. I think Cotto would get stopped even though he may win two or three rounds off of Floyd.
