I just realized this is on a Sunday. Makes sense since it’s Labor Day. I know I said I wouldn’t buy it, but I might have a few people over. Idk.

Maybe that will wake him up to reality.

Really is it too much for Andy to lose 20-35 pounds inbetween camps and keep it off and then just focus on boxing during camp....
his fat ass basically needs a weight loss camp before the actual camp. but thats too much trouble so he just wings it as a fat ass and considering how far he came by just winging it like that he has tremendous untapped talent if he actually tried. He could be unified champ right now.
The guy is obiously no great brain. Here he was , an unexpected Champ of the World, suddenly worth tens or hundreds potentially of millions, and he put on 20 lbs partying instead of the opposite.
He deserbed to lose. Joshua was there to be taken just like the first fight, but Ruiz was mired is slob.charliepaerker likes this.

Ruiz was fast, active, and his boxing looked very good at 268 against Joshua (1st fight) and Dimeitrenko before that. He's aiming for 260 - 265. I don't see any problem. Whether he is good enough to beat Ortiz may be a different question, but fighting at 260 - 265 IS his natural weight as a fighter.
If it's not he was very effective fighting there. Leave him alone and enjoy the fight.NoConcoms likes this.

That is the right mindset, he was just fine focusing on the boxing training however he does seem to have improved his conditioning a bit more compared to when he trained for Arreola.

Lmao people really giving it to ruiz. Everyone in the division is fat as hell like wtf. Literally windmill and aj are the only "fit" ones. Usyk too I guess but not as muscular. It works for Andy so who cares
