It's been a long time, so bringing this back as the division has a little bit of life in it come dec 23...has anything changed?

    1. Oleksandr Usyk Ring/WBA/WBO/IBF
    2. Tyson Fury WBC
    3. Anthony Joshua
    4. Zhilie Zhang
    5. Joe Joyce
    6. Joseph Parker
    7. Dillian Whyte
    8. Andy Ruiz
    9. Filip Hrgovic
    10. Frank Sanchez

Theres so little going on in the division that I just rejigged the whole thing a bit.

If Wilder beats Parker he slots in.

        1. Usyk
        2. Joshua
        3. Hrgovic
4 .Fury ( I refuse to put him top 3 until he either beats Usyk or fights Joshua he has done neither )
        5. Wilder
        6. Zhang
        7 Joyce
        8. Mahkmudov
        9. Wallin
        10. Parker

On the shelf is Ngannou, not putting a guy with one fight who fought an overatted goofball who continues to give boxing a black eye either in a one off fight until he actually wins against anyone listed here .

They are all garbage.... Usyk got taken out by a single body punch and Fury went life and death with a retired MMA fighter. The rest don’t deserve a mention

            9. Wallin
            10. Sanchez

Fury is lucky not to fall lower than 2 in my rankings after that Ngannou debacle but do i really think Zhang or AJ beat a 100% motivated fury who trains properly? Probably not.

Joyce exits the top 10 after his two brutal beatings, because I have no idea what he will have left, but could easily re-enter if he looks OK in his next fight similar to Wilder and Parker taking bad losses but still looking fairly decent In Their comebacks.

Theres a fair bit of talent in that top 10,the issue with the is era isnt a lack of quality it's a lack of fights. Most of the guys on that list have only fought 1 other person on it!

Yes, I was tempted to put fury lower.

Wilder is better than Joshua. Usyk/Fury & then Wilder for me!

I'm ok with the fury point but then how is Wilder even there? He was semi retired for ages and hasn't fought any one of note till the 23rd lol

You have Ruiz at 6 ,he hasn’t fought in over a year as well ? In fact Wilder fought more recently then he did .

Wilder is still an anomaly anomaly \uh-NAH-muh-lee\ noun. 1 : something different, abnormal, peculiar, or not easily classified .

Wilder is a top 10 otherwise it’s not very believable list . If he lost to Parker or how he loses you can make a case because that will be the nail in the coffin as far as being in a top spot light again but can still be a top 10 guy , Parker moves up in ranking and Wilder is just speculation. As it stands now he is favored over Parker , Wilder was also saved by the bell in his 13th fight you can use that logic to say he was never a top 10 fighter but we know that’s not how it works .

I base my list on who I think can beat who or has defeated someone where I cannot rank someone over them by current activity not how long a fighter has been out of a ring ,it’s an advantage for Parker but it doesn’t mean we kick Wilder out of the top 10 otherwise you need to get rid of Ruiz if that’s your criteria because it’s an incorrect formula then .

All these matches in Saudi isn’t going to tell me much really besides the Miller/ DDD and Sanchez/ Fa fights . They are good fights but I expect the projected outcomes to happen , I think Miller and Fa are the potential upsets otherwise my list isn’t going to change based on this card if all favorites win .
