Nobody thought Chavez Jr deserved a shot, but Canelo wanted that fight because it was low risk easy money. But Mexicans who might actually win aren't allowed.

exactly. With those two warriors it was quite the opposite. Barrera punched morales in the face during the press conference and they wanted to whoop each other even more so because they were both Mexican.
