Fans would've been in an uproar if those historical trilogies between Mexican fighters hadn't taken place.
Heck their's been fighters from different ethnic origins who have fought each other 4, 5, 6, even more times than that throughout the history of boxing.
So what in the hell is this idiot talking about, is he trying to change the future of boxing, in order to deal with his own insecurities?
He's been losing face with boxing fans little by little, this just might open the flood gate's against him, to where he either fights whoever is ranked or get stripped of his titles.
The name of this sport is called Boxing, not Canelo, your not the ****, Facist, or Communist dictator who control's this sport, and everyone in it.
It's talk like this that's going to be the beginning of the end for your career, because the general public has heard this kind of talk before, and it leads to the oppression of other's.

Yeah, history going way back was bad enough where black fighters were denied those opportunities. If Zurdo wins against Bivol, he deserves to make a great payday against Canelo, not be told by Canelo "Sorry I won't fight you because you are a Mexican". That falls under the category of WTF?

If that's the case they're full of **** also, because they've fought enough of them in their career's, and they're going to have to fight some more before they retire from the sport.

Canelo just doesn't want to deal with De la Hoya. Simple as that. for him, saying he doesn't want to fight a Mexican is better than saying he doesn't want to do business with GBP. Besides he has no obligation to fight Zurdo, should Zurdo win.

He still didn't learn his lesson after Bivol thwacked him back down to the 168 pound division, it would be poetic justice if GGG were to thwack him at 168 take his titles, and refuse to fight him for a fourth time.

I know it was set up for Canelo to be the next KING OF BOXING after PPVweather retired but he's sure not acting like it. From Clenbuterol....to the Franchise chump....to ducking Jermall....to shunning traditional PPV for an unproven app....going on a Euro bum tour...denying Americans what we so desire which is a Mexican v black war with Andrade ... getting completely outclassed by a LHW....and now saying he won't fight another Mexican IN THE SPORT OF BOXING! What next? Is Lebron James going to say he doesn't want to play against another black guy in the NBA. Sheesh!!!

Charla and Andrade are garbage. Why didn't they fight each other? Why hasn't Spence and Crawford fought? Why didn't Wilder and AJ fight? Why hasn't Stank and Stainey fought? Why did Gayweather duck Paul Williams? Seems like there are more blacks not wanting to fight each other than Canelo not wanting to fight one or two Mexicans.
