    Just a correction:

Sharmba Mitchell had already moved up to WW when Floyd fought him. And Oscar was a super-welter (or JMW). So, if you are talking about the sizes of guys, shouldn't you also include bigger men?

    Since 2005, PBF has fought:

    1 smaller man (JMM)
3 same size guys (sharmba, judah, hatton)
    2 bgger men (dlh, baldo)

    Just providing the objective facts.

Yet people say its a tune up but want to make a argument for marquez being p4p 2#. That doesnt make it okay.

I haven't heard any Mayweather supporters provide that. And I notice that the Mayweather haters are trying to put a "he was 160" spin on it.

Well, again, he was 152 last week. That is a fact. Which is consistent with his weight at the 30-day WBC pre-weighin for The World Awaits.

Marquez gave up four pounds in the ring last night.

I have read some people attempting to spin it that FMJ was "twenty pounds" heavier than Marquez. Well, if that was the case, then a dehydrated, weight-drained mayweather did that to Marquez. And if FMJ looks like that when he is weight drained....sheesh.

          As you were, gentlemen.
saying floyd was 152 lbs last week doesn't prove anything cause floyd was still cutting weight to make 146 lbs.

floyd probably rehydrated to anywhere between 154-160 lbs. floyd look like King Kong in the ring next to JMM....

nobody bitchin and moaning... the fact is... floyd was just way to big for jmm... it was a tune up. cong**** to floyd for doing what he's supposed to... WWs are supposed to beat LWs... now lets see floyd fight a real WW.

          That seems hypocritical.
how? floyd is a WW... he should fight WWs.

If you want him to fight opponents of relative size; name one worth fighting. I'm pretty sure everybody would agree that Mosley, Cotto, PWill, Marg, etc are all larger than PBF.
i don't even know why people are still arguing this... floyd couldn't even make 144 lbs. he ain't a small WW.

You can try to discredit him all you want but all it does is make every division look like ****.
          nope

The fact is; on an even ground floyd beats anybody.
yeah, but floyd got to actually fight WWs to get credit for beating them

He didn't need a leg up w/ the weight; but he had one.
if he didn't need a leg up w/ the weight then why didn't he make the weight?

Live with it. Move on. He was bigger. Boo-fucking-hoo.
it wasn't a fair fight... therefore floyd shouldn't get max credit for it... he shouldn't get credit at all...

I will say that floyd is a great fighter and I wouldn't have anyone but pwill as a favorite over him.

            Fight a top rated welterweight. Stop dealing with hypothetical outcomes of hypothetical matchups. 147 has been one of the best divisions since mr.counterfeit cash joined it in 2005. It had names like;

            antonio margarito
            shane mosley
            luis collazo
            joshua clottey
            luis collazo
            carlos quintana
            paul williams
            corey spinks
            miguel cotto
            kermit cintron
            andre berto.

With that deep a class you had to pick out a featherweight, 2 junior lightweights to go along with baldomir & judah.

You dont judge true legendary greatness as mr.counterfeit cash & co. claim by defeating undefeated fighters. You do it by beating other great legendary fighters.

Undefeated fighters = fighters who havent really fought anybody.

mayweather is clearly shot. his prime was when he was ****kicking guys like baldomir(very underrated this guy was one of the best fighters i've ever seen) and henry brusseles(most people thought he was better than cotto so that means its a better win than beating cotto himself) we call that the jeff lacy logic.

You have to pick your battle. You're fighting a war on both fronts and collapsing to the interior because of it. Choose; Weight Class or Size. You don't get both because apparently for everybody else it's a handicap.

Look at your list; regardless of being WW's would you actually be happy if Floyd fought the majority of the list? Collazo, Clottey, Quintana, Spinks, Cintron, or Berto... if he chose any of those there would be an outrage. An absolute outrage. Everybody else on that list I agree would be a good fight; but let's wait and see where Floyd goes from here. It's doubtful he's retiring again. A fight with Hatton or Oscar wont so he'll be looking to the next big payday. That means Pacquiao or one of the other listed fighters.

Yeah that's why he was underdog against Corrales.

And Tszyu, Urango, Collazo are nobodies, they were already journeymen with 10 losses each by the time that Hatton beat them.

The agreed weight of 144lbs was already bad enough but it wasnt enough for the so called greatest boxer of this generation. He had to come in 2lbs over the limit. Instead of trying to lose weight, he uses money to placate marquez who has no choice but to concede the two pounds.

A lot of his fans say "well he doesnt really weigh that much during fight night"

SO WHY DID HE REFUSE TO GET WEIGHED IN ON FIGHT NIGHT?

Who knows how much he weighed when he came into the ring?

Last night's match up was a ABOMINATION. What is happening to our society that we allow, reward, & tolerate wickedness?
