and still you give us NO Knowledge whilst claiming everyone else doesn’t know nothing.

So you cannot tell us why Eddie loses his purse bids? Haha you stay angry.

There’s no way he’s intentionally losing bids like some would have you believe. I’d love to hear a real explanation.
Simple economics innit. Kambosos/Lopez was the kind of fight that would attract new subscribers in a lot of the territories DAZN operate in, so it was worth going all in to get it. Buatsi/Pascal isn't that kind of match-up. I wouldn't call the Matchroom bid a low ball though. If they'd secured the fight, Buatsi's purse would have been $525,000, which I reckon he would have been happy with. He's a young fighter at the start of his career and not a big draw, even in the UK.

Yup. He doesn’t have the means or finances to compete at purse bids with other promoters.

        Simple economics. I agree.

Which is exactly my point. I’m glad you get it and put it so well. I appreciate that. There’s just no way you are wrong. 100% **** on the money with you’re answer.

If Hearn can't compete with other promoters at purse bids, then how do you explain him winning the rights to a much more expensive fight in Kambosos/Lopez, which you yourself referred to in the comment I quoted?

Good to see you're not even pretending to be unbiased now!

Usyk's Matchroom contract ended with the Chisora fight. His main promoter has always been K2 and they were working with Matchroom on Usyk/AJ 1& 2.

That bid was Feb 2021, when Hearn was using Dazn's money to try and take over the sport. Nowadays they seem a lot less ambitious, if that kind of fight/purse bid was happening now I don't think they'd bid so much.

Then again they did spend a lot on securing Canelo. So maybe they are just spending on the biggest fighters and everybody else is low priority. They definitely seem to have less money available than before though.

That was then. In the months since he’s lost bid after bid. Lost his role with Haney to arum. Lost his role with Whyte.

I’m only going off recent history. If you think it makes sense to spend millions of dollars for a one off fight between two guys that you DON’T promote and hasn’t done anything for you’re brand, is a better idea than backing ya own guys and winning purse bids to keep them on your network , than i guess that’s why you aren’t a promoter.

maybe If that money wasn’t frittered away on a fight which was meaningless to DAZN and Eddie , then they could of afforded the Haney /Kambosos deal. But as fans, we all know Eddie did that to get at Bob Arum, he could of gave up the rights after he’d proven a point, but nope.

So spending millions of dollars on Lopez/George (he promoted neither btw) then LOSING the chance to have Haney (Who Was with Eddie) Fight the winner, is a great business move to make and is still a great move even with the benefit of Hindsight? this is what you are telling me? I just wanna make sure we’re clear?

Stop being a snowflake tart. People are allowed to question Promoters, Managers, Fighters heck even cutmen! But I promise you one thing, I bet you I’ve put more money in eddies pocket than you ever have.

And I bet I’ve attended many more of his events weigh ins and fights around the U.K. and Europe.

so don’t cry about who’s being bias when you’re all upset I’m asking a very valid question. Which you would jump at the chance of answering if this was a Bob arum etc.

Now stick on the topic and actually explain to me how the above scenario is really the best one? You honestly possess 0 business acumen. If you’re reply isn’t intelligently thought out, or giving a statement that’s credible and has some substance, I’m just gonna blank you, like I have about you been all for Whyte but wilder isn’t allowed to expect a percentage.
You’re a hypocrite. Stop being desperate and make a valid point for once in ya life. All ya do is speculate.

It was you who decided to compare the Kambo/Lopez and Buatsi/Pascal purse bids, not me. I just commented on a comparison you made yourself.

You asked what seemed to be a genuine question based on that comparison, and I gave you an answer. So why all the childish insults?

And now they won't be for Fury, according to Arum. Another thing I find hard to understand is what's DAZN's position, when it comes to GBP and MatchRoom? I would think they would be in some type of position to get those 2 working together. It shouldn't have taken the WBA to order Bivol vs. Zurdo, for that to happen! Ryan Garcia vs. Montana Love should be easy! Garcia vs. Haney should've happen a year ago! If they would work together, DAZN would be flourishing!
