Are We All Wrong About Current Heavyweights Being Better? AJ Answered It...

    "I'm not a 12 round fighter." - Joshua

Back in the day, it was 15 rounds. These huge 300 lb monsters would get TKO by then. They had giants back then too. They didn't have designer roids like they do now like Fury is caught using. His 6'10 300 lb lard ass would be a gassed, big stiff idiot without those PED's.

While I don't think Fury is a generational talent. I think he would be a contender in any era. He's progressively gotten better and better and I believe that comes with ring experience. His size and craftiness is what makes him better then everyone else currently. He utilizes his strengths very well and his boxing IQ is probably the best of all the heavyweights. One thing you can't teach and that's his confidence. He firmly believes he is the best and when you combine that with his skills its a tough combo to beat.

It was a weird rant. i mean if he was talking purely about way, way back yeah I guess, but the 80s and 90s guys were not much smaller than the current guys on average. He brought up Mike Tyson but Mike was considered small back then too. Guys like Bowe and Lennox were the same size as Joshua.

                and *******.

dude abuses all kinds of drugs.

                100% on EPO. it's undetectable

in the 50's, he would be 50% slower and gassed after 5 rounds.

Canelo would have been a light heavy in the same day weight inn era.
