    .
floyd only looks like a middleweight if you compare him to the old , old school middleweights who come in around 150-155.

in shane's defense though i think he was wearing boots which made him look a lot taller than floyd who was in flat boxing shoes.

shane is a lot bigger though but not by as much as we saw on tv. he hasn't been training so i'm sure he's a lot heavier than he would be if he had to weigh in at 147.

Thats why i said he "looked" ....... then "compared" to "JMM" no offense just trying to explain, Just like i thought Cotto "looked" like a middleweight against Paulie M.

dress shoes boots. he was stylin'.

he looked like he had 3-4 inches on floyd. he's not that tall.

No Im saying he is a very small one , he has obviously grown a touch with the layoff and age , now its you who wants to talk official all the time , so what was his official weight , 146 ,,, smaller than the ODH weigh-in , same as Judah weigh-in , a pd smaller that Baldy and same as Hatton weigh-n ,,,,, now all of a sudden you want to say he jumped to MW yet all the times he officially weighed in within a pd of 146 he never stepped in the ring higher than 151 ,,,,,,,, you guys are just so full of it .

even now he's still a small welterweight.

marg would still dwarf him and cotto and mosley is still thicker.

floyd is a natural super lightweight or big lightweight.

but he was about 155 last night.

Floyd weighs in at 146 and is therefore a VERY SMALL welterweight.

                    Outstanding!

                    • You idiots are so ****** that you don't remember the BS line you were using the week before. Thread after thread about how Pacquiao puts on 10+ lbs when fighting at SFW, or how Cotto does it when fighting at WW. You guys built your entire set of excuses for why it was okay for Floyd to duck welterweights around what people weigh on the HBO fight night scale, and then you hero doesn't even have the balls to step on them because he knows how much bigger he is than the guy who is already stepping up 2 divisions to face him.

Despite being in millions of dollars of debt, Floyd finds it easier to give up $600,000 than to make less than 146lb, and yet some of you are trying to say that he was only 150lbs on the night?

You people have spent years parroting the same crap. Thread after thread about how we should change the rules of boxing, because Cotto, Clottey and Mosley are MWs by the time they step into the ring and Floyd isn't. Then Floyd comes in so big that he's ashamed to even be weighed and you still defend it?

What we saw in there was a big welterweight against a small lightweight, and those celebrating it are the same exact people who (when Floyd-Cotto was proposed) claimed it was unfair for a small WW to face a big WW.
