Took a while for them to get talking points - but the Matchroom paid incels are back with their usual wilder obsessions. Freaking weirdosComment

Joshua has 3 belts so more mandatories. Wilder fought Stiverne a 2nd time - nobody was asking for that fight. Nobody was asking for the 3rd Fury fight either but I'm glad that one happened at least. Joshua got his first belt against Martin easy enough - that was a gimme - but Parker was a live dog and Klitschko was really up for his fight with AJ - a different fighter to the timid plodder who showed up against Fury.Comment

So if it’s true that Ortiz was not avoided and Fury was indeed a cherry picked opponent then why didn’t AJ fight either of them when he had the opportunity to do so?
Ortiz even signed with Matchroom but still couldn’t get a fight with Joshua. If Tyson Fury was cherry-pick then so was Dmitry Bivol when he challenged Alvarez and defeated him.
Why are you talking about Canelo? Get your head out of Wilder's ass man.Comment

I think they're referring maybe not as much to the scorecards but the fact that Usyk kinda beat Joshua up a bit in the first fight and looked like he was about to stop him at the end. Joshua wasn't hurt in the second fight and looked like he hurt Usyk in the 9th round. I thought Joshua did better and didn't get outboxed as badly in the second fight but that's just my 2 cents...Comment

That sounds like a poor excuse. Joshua did fine. I thought he put in a great effort and did about all he could besides really roughing up and fouling Usyk. Who knows, might have worked. Ask Andre "I did what I had to do to win" Ward. He "didn't look like himself" because he simply fought a better fighter. Mike Tyson didn't "look like himself" either when he fought the best. As a matter of fact Tyson "didn't look like himself" when he got taken the distance and exposed FOUR TIMES prior to getting beat up and knocked out by Douglas, during his "prime." Regardless of what you think of Joshua it's crazy to see everyone turning on him and saying he's garbage all of a sudden. Yeah he lost but it wasn't like the Ruiz fight which wasn't a good look. The worst part for him was his idiotic post fight rant. He's only 32 and still has the opportunity for plenty of big name big money fights in the future. Though he never will Wilder needs to keep his mouth closed. Show Usyk the respect he earned and deserves.Comment

It’s boxing man. They see an obvious star like Joshua and they will help him along. Everyone eats.Comment

I may be the only forum user here able to analyse this impartially.
AJ was a hypejob cash cow who had his gold medal purchased for him, only had three mandatories in six years and won belts off unranked, inactive Klitschko, Charles Martin and Parker who showed up for the cheque. The English refs also had his back in the Parker fight and Takam stoppage.
Hearn's flat fee offers, multi-fight deals, uneven splits, etc. were done to win the media battle rather than attempt to fight Wilder genuinely. This happened to Fury on his return where AJ said he was not interested in the fight because he had no belt and Hearn told him to get through Bellew and Shyte before thinking about it.
They only become interested in the Fury fight after he became a household name ($$$) after the Wilder fights and Ruiz Jr had taken AJ's 0.
But in saying that, Wilder was protected by PBC far more until he stepped up against unbeaten boogeyman Luis Ortiz. The first fight against Fury was a cherrypick gone wrong. They thought he was washed and wanted the lineal title to hold over AJ's team in negotiations.
But Wilder gets his respect because he is one of the few modern boxers who proclaim that they will "go out on my shield" and actually do it. Man was KO'd unconscious in round 11 and still trying to peel himself off the canvas.
AJ, on the other hand, was so scared of gassing out and getting counterpunched that he never truly went for it. He bottled the fight, everyone knew he could not win over 12 rounds with his attributes bar a huge robbery.
So people congratulating him on giving it his all are nothing but sycophants or fanboys. This is what Wilder means by saying:
When you give a man everything and then it’s time to really bite down on the wire. How far can you go?Comment
