Fury hasn't done anything special yet in the sport of boxing. Got beat up by McDermott, got beat up by Wallin. Cunningham dropped him. Got dropped 4 times against essentially a still unproven Wilder (who was a KO himself waiting to happen, in the way he fights with all power and no skills). These are all no-names in the grand scheme of things. His pathetic performance against a 39 y/o Klitscko was the worst boxing title fight in boxing history in terms of action. The only thing Fury has going for him is his W's against Wilder but if Helenenius destroys Wilder then there is not much left of that resume!
If he fights back to back Joyce, Usyk and AJ then yeah, you can ride into the sunset at that age for retirement, but not against a Whyte who was already beat by Povetkin so that fight never made any sense, and then claim you are the best while all the top dogs are still competing. It does not add up.Last edited by Haka; 08-22-2022, 11:45 PM.Comment
