we all know the sole reason the gypsy fraud announced his early retirement was to duck Usyk

he probably still has PTSD about that Cunningham fight where he was getting beaten from pillar to post by a cruiserweight, until Fury started cheating with wrestling / dirty tactics.

he's probably not confident the dirty tricks will work against Usyk, another cruiser who happens to be LEVELs above Cunningham in terms of skill

Exactly. He's huge and will (try to) rough up and wear down Usyk the way Joshua should have. Some may not like it but it's a page out of the Andre Ward playbook. "I did what I had to do to win."
