    Is Usyk slowing down?

Don't get me wrong, he was still far too quick and agile for AJ to handle, and pretty much everyone else for that matter, but to me he didn't look as fast as he did in the last fight..

Obviously his preparation was hampered due to the war but the man is 35 with a style that relies heavily on his movement, and legs are always the first thing to go

He looked bulkier and more sluggish than usual to me. Plus the guy is 35.

Agreed - I was surprised. Not sure if it was the training camp. Against Fury, he will have to be faster and more elusive again, or else Fury will bear hug him into submission.

I agree he looked better in the first fight. Could have been the time off?

He bulked up and is older but I thought he didn't that much movement for AJ this time around. He uses the angles so effectively that it created great defense and openings.

              - - Slugs as U and U ilk are the last to know anything about boxing, but I doubt he returns to boxing unless someone offers $100mil. He's a patriot with bigger fights than the ring.

What Usyk did is take a near Ali beating to the body like Foremen did to Ali back when. After Foreman, Ali was operating at 60% and looking shot in half his remaining fights, the Wepner and Shavers fight being the worst that probably cost him 20 IQ points and guaranteed early disability and dementia.

Who the hell today gets beat by Neon Leon, I mean c'mon...

It is hard to judge, what fighters will look when when they are in the ring with each other.

Usyk before he ever fought Joshua, you would of expected Joshua to just blast him out.

Especially after Usyk struggled, and only really beat Chisora due to Chisora fatiguing.

I think Usyk looked different in this fight, because Joshua improved his long range game 'Slightly'.

But as the rounds went by, Joshua struggled to keep it up. No Jab, No big man styled fighting.

I think Usyk may have been in slightly better overall condition for the first fight. Not by much.

But he does seem consistent with his conditioning which is good. Most heavyweights these days are all over the place.

Their weight goes up and down by 10-14 pounds at times, and they seem like different fighters from fight to fight.

I like consistent fighters with their conditioning. Joshua is consistent, Wilder is consistent.

Fury is not consistent, Whyte is not consistent, Chisora is not consistent, pretty much everyone else in the division is not consistent.

Dubois seems consistent, Joyce showing signs of not being consistent.

Nobody knows what Tyson Fury will appear vs Usyk. 250 pound, 270 pounds Fury, Technical Fury, or Fury who is chaotic and all over the place.

I think we will get pretty much the same Usyk vs Tyson Fury. Usyk has worked his way up to 220 pounds, so he will most like be between 220-225 pounds vs Fury.

I have given him the limit of 225 pounds because, maybe he will right now? Jump straight back into training.

3 weeks recovery, then jump straight back in.

I am not sure how long a fighter would have off after a 12 round fight?

He didn't bulk up that much did he? He was pretty much the same weight as the first fight.

RJJ was basically untouchable in his prime. Never had a close fight. His greatest attribute was speed.

then he hit 36 and you know the rest.
