Really enjoyed the fight. Bizarre scores and poor corner work from team AJ though. The speech, comedy gold. 118-110 Usyk on my card. Usyk closes the distance on world number 2 Wilder, but remains in 3rd spot. GOAT Fury remains 1. Nash out.

Joshua showed his quality by resisting and trying in rounds 11 and 12. But that Ukrainian really is a class apart! Congratulations to both for that great fight. Usyk is my favorite, he is already a great in history. Against a giant like Fury it is another matter. But who knows? It will be a great fight!
Usyk has the winners mentality, much like Fury actually.

you see when Usyk had his worst round, he comes back
And put it on AJ. Like Fury did after he hit the canvas.

That’s why they are where they are I guess. I think AJ is good but he lacks that extra few % of crazy winning mentality.

Still, Fury beats Usyk. He knows how to make his advantages matter. Also, Fury actually knows how to pivot and use a jab at range, which significantly negates angles like Usyk uses. Teofimo negated all Loma’s angles for large parts of the fight with a simple pivot and long jab. It can be done. Briedis showed it too.

Usyk is a brilliant fighter though and it would be a fascinating fight with Fury. But beating a fairly limited AJ and beating Fury are two different very very things.

Joshua is not even the Michael Moorer or Tim Witherspoon of his era. More like the Trevor Berbick in that he defeated one far past his prime great and after that is known for his losses. And his disgraceful, mentally Ill tossing away the belts and taking attention from his conqueror will be his legacy. Total assclown.

I'll give credit where it's due Joshua impressed me 2nd time he takes an immediate rematch with someone who beat him not many would do that. Although he didn't win he looked like a much better fighter and could still make for some good fights at heavyweight. If he would've done a little more body work he might've got the stoppage.
I had the same score but coming close in this case really doesn't matter. I don't think he could win.

All credit to fighting Usyk twice and showing plenty of ability and grit, but unless he fights Usyk again he doesn't really get to show he can improve.

The other fights out there for him are completely different fights.

Yes 8-4 all night. The judge that managed to score Joshua a winner by two points should be made to explain his scoring.

Someone please keep your eyes on Eddie Hearn, he’s probably on suicide watch about now.
