If any of these guys touch Teo like Kambosos did, he'll wind up comatose. He outboxed, fast as a statue, Pedro last night, but that was a perfect choice. After getting slapped around by a quicker man, they slowed it down. I'm not saying Teo can't win, but last night was the red team, the B class.

When you know your chances are slim, you aim for the head... The journey for Teo @140 might just be hard and disappointing for him ... I wonder what he thought when a rather average Campa ate his shots early like nothing was there... That 5 lbs might be the end of the line for the troubled kid...Comment

name a Mexican fighter who isn’t tough af. Very few fighters at 140 can get campa out of there earlier than Teo did. When you know your chances are slim, you aim for the head... All 3 of those guys beat Teofimo who I think career will end up being a flash in the pan honestly. Nothing last night suggested he could compete with the elite at 140. Ramirez,Subriel,Barboza and Garcia probably beat his ass too.Comment

I can't put my finger on it Boricua... Im watching the fight and something is off about Lopez. I mean he looked good, got his man out... But something bugged me. The first thing is Lopez facial expressions. He looked very tentative, it looked like when he hit Campa he thought the guy would be hurt more than he was... It was bothering him that his power was not enough to crush Campa. The Teofimo Lopez Jr., I saw beat Pedro Campa last night isn't beating Taylor, Prograis, or Zepeda, and there are few more fighters at 140 won't beat.
He'll find out real quick that there are levels to this boxing game, and when he's finally facing those fighters he'll realize that he's just not at their level.
Not only just that, Teofimo's profanity laced post fight interview, and his over the top animated celebration of his win against a fighter ranked 63rd in the world by boxrec, went beyond the reality of the moment.
I mean he celebrated in the ring, on the walk to the dressing room, in the dressing room, no doubt where ever they went afterwards, and possibly in his sleep.
You would've thought that he had just won the unified championship belts at 140, it's as if he had just accomplished something that he thought was near impossible.
I've said it before, and I can't say it enough there is something seriously wrong with this guy emotionally, because he can't control himself. he thinks who he is.
I don't think Lopez can use his power so much at this weight. I think he does have skills, but there are some great fighters at 140... I hope I am wrong but Lopez looks fragile. When his power is not what it was at 135 it looks like it bothers him... He looks like a fighter that fights attentively in spurts, then loses focus...Last edited by billeau2; 08-14-2022, 03:42 PM.Comment

Actually... His face was a testament to "what he thought." He looked scared that he wasn't hurting Campa. He then boxed in spurts against Campa... Looking like he lost concentration at times. When you know your chances are slim, you aim for the head... The journey for Teo @140 might just be hard and disappointing for him ... I wonder what he thought when a rather average Campa ate his shots early like nothing was there... That 5 lbs might be the end of the line for the troubled kid...
The kid is talented... I think he is the right size and in the right division... But its a very competative division!Last edited by billeau2; 08-14-2022, 03:48 PM.Comment
