What's the point if he's already vacated his ring belt he must even know himself nobody will continue believing his bs after all this time, i was a fan of Fury so disappointed he has decided to vacate maybe he knows his body isn't holding up like it used to so knows he's on a downward spiral. The heavyweight division will be a lot more boring without Fury but i'm guessing Wilder will come out of hiding when Fury vacates his WBC so at least we have him to laugh at.Comment

Not quite that simple. If Fury kept his mouth closed (which is impossible for him) you're quite right to say he would have nothing to do until his next mandatory. But because he's saying he's retiring the WBC want to make arrangements to fill the potential vacancy, which could involve a number of scenarios, including a four-man box off. That takes time to arrange.Comment

Anyone who thinks little punch bag Ali or stiff, plodding robot Louis compares to 6'9 270 lbs Fury who will have dethroned W. Klitschko, Wilder and Usyk don't know **** about boxing!
Quality will always trump quantity. ALWAYS.Comment

Why does he keep saying he's retiring?
Nah, they cream themselves to the thought of Fury retiring just so they can say he "ducked" them. Some have already started saying it
What can people say after he leaves little juisyk with bust ribs and a checked ego?
They will have to demean the entire era. That would be the last remaining option to downplay Fury's GOAT status.Comment

Primarily, to keep his name in the headlines and sell his "comeback" fight for undisputed.
But it also has the effect of overshadowing the Usyk-AJ 2 event that nobody is talking about due to the lacklustre promotion and Saudi holding up on the broadcast side of things.
Fury is a genius inside and outside the ring! A calculated madman.Comment

He's been behaving erratically. I think he's probably abusing psychiatric medicine, like a lot of other people. It's just another crutch at the end of the day.

What I find most boring is all this hollering into social media that boxers are doing with it not amounting to anything other than clicks from morons.Comment

Do you not just find it tedious though? He doesn't need to "sell" anything, it's a huge fight regardless of any hollering into social media.

It's all nice and swell to like a boxer but come on. You're a bigger fan than his mom if you rly think that.
