Fury is the best heavyweight in post Klitschko era and one of the best ever, but I have no time for his mind games. If he comes back fine, if he doesn`t I am also fine. I don`t care about his personal life, I am a boxing fan, I follow active fighters only.

You do realise in America it's about 46k people (35k men) a year deleting themselves right? And it's not about the relationship ending simpleton.
It's the biggest killer of men under 50 because not many men under 50 die in advanced countries. If you become that much of a wreck due to a failed relationship you were probably mentally unstable to being with. Yes, mental health is a problem, but this mawkish, confessional approach is not the way to solve it.
It's the things that come after the aforementioned ending of the relationship like I pointed out - financial ruin from fighting in the courtroom(s) just to see your kids, the loss of dignity/pride as your life crumbles around you often leading to drug/alcohol abuse which further exacerbates mental issues...
You clearly have no grasp on what is or isn't the best approach to solving mental health issues so until you can provide a better solution to at least spark debate (as Fury has) regarding the subject I'd refrain from making comment.
And lest we forget in some western countries the yearly death rate is exceeding the birth rate, so your "advanced countries" comment holds little to no value.Last edited by Boro; 08-14-2022, 06:08 PM.Comment

Or it's a ploy so he can fight for it a 3rd time and be like "I'm the only fighter to have fought for and won the ring belt 3 times and never lost it in the ring"... until he's officially given up the WBC and Suliman hasn't given him champion emeritus it means nothing.Last edited by Boro; 08-14-2022, 03:54 PM.Comment

So he isnt the longest reigning heavy, that belongs to klitschko with like more than a decade. Not the most successful defenses, that would be Joe Louis with 27. You mentioned undefeated, hes not even the first to do that, Marciano did it, not sure who else. Not the oldest heavy champ, Foreman at 45 nor the youngest, thatd be Tyson at 20. Hes got ONE defense of his precious ring mag or any other belt he has won. So again, tell us why you got him at the GOAT???
One more fight to secure his legacy and receive the biggest payday of his career where he will be a big favourite over either Usyk or AJ.
Pathetic haters are desperate for Fury to retire because they KNOW he goes undefeated, undisputed, x3 Ring Magazine champion which would cement him as the HW GOAT.
So many people have been baited over the past week chatting all kinds of rubbish

May as well be the Mad Magazine Champion - that carries as much weight as the Ring does.

War Fury though - best HW around.Comment

Holyfield's resume at CW is pitiful and he went life and death with 5'5, blown-up LHW Qawi who Spinks beat comfortably. Only biased black fellas rate him over Usyk.
LOL did Fury going for undisputed happen in your dream last night? How are you giving him credit for something he hasn’t even done yet??
Besides, Usyk still has a way to go before beating Holyfield as the CW GOAT, and Wilder reign is a product of ridiculous matchmaking that wouldn’t stand up in any other era (Ortiz as his only live victim in 40+ fights..seriously?).
Simply put, Tyson’s legacy doesn’t stand up to the likes of Lewis, Holyfield, Holmes, Foreman at all, all of whom beat at least 2-3 fellow HoFs on top of stacking defences.
A powerful southpaw counterpuncher like Ortiz would have destroyed all the old era HWs. Watch prime Ali struggle with small, pillow-fisted Mildenburger.
Foreman had like 4 defences with his best win being a blown-up, chinny LHW Moorer who was easily winning prior to the stoppage.
Just admit you know nothing about boxing and huff on nostalgia like it is a drug. "HOF" status is handed out like candy to old era boxers. Talk names, styles and skills instead.Comment

Little punch bag? I wonder if you ever consider that you are the one not knowing **** about boxing…?
Quality will trump quantity, but you’re talking as if size is everything. His resume is weak af. Fury ran from a Klitschko rematch, got dropped by Wilder 4 times and now seems to be ducking Usyk-Joshua winner.
You need very special kind of standards to make him HW GOAT.Comment

Ali was a punch bag with poor defence. Have you watched any of his fights?

In fact, his fanboys have to pretend getting beat up on the ropes is a legitimate strategy
Klitschko, Wilder and Usyk will be the strongest resume of all time.
If you disagree, feel free to point out the super-heavyweight technicians, athletic, rangy KO artists and elite southpaws present in other eras.Comment

Well it can be a legit strategy when you know your opponent will punch himself out. And YES, I have watched his fights and maybe you cherry pick the fights he was already brain damaged I dunno. But before his layoff there is no way in hell you can call his defence bad. If you say so then you are indeed clueless beyond hope.

Liston, Patterson, Chuvalo, Frazier, Lyle and Foreman. Tyson has a long way to go to level that. He needs Usyk, AJ, Joyce and someone like Hrgovic or other young guns. He isn't gonna do that bcs the risk of losing is high. His speed is gone, his punch output isn't very good and he gets dropped easily. It's only a matter of time if he faces real opponents. Last time he faced a boxer was against Otto Wallin and it was life and death for Fury.
Again you seem to think that size is everything which means Butterbean is the GOAT. Hopefully Fury will fight Usyk and get schooled but I highly doubt it. Furys claim to fame is beating and old champ and the most one dimensional champ of all time. No defences, no consistency, very low level resume besides the to OK level wins. This is why he's on his way out already, he has lots to lose and it was very close Wilder didn't win the third fight by TKO. He's been lucky three times already, against McDermott and in Wilder I and III. I don't blame him for not wanting to push it further.Comment
