Ok,you make a valid point but it's never good to say that you would never work with another promoter simply because you are no longer friends with them. Just take Bob Arum and Don King for example; Those two have a mutual respect for one another even though they never personally liked each other.

However, it never stopped them from working together in order to giving us boxing fans some of the greatest fights that we have ever seen. It's because at the end of the day it is all about business and making money.

Lastly, I agree. This is a last ditch effort attempt by De La Hoya in order to stay relevant and save his company.

He's lucky Pride had their issues, best mma fights of all time were Pride.

Pride was great but it gets overly romanticized. The UFC had already been snowballing for a few years by the time Pride folded, off the back of the ultimate fighter.
