    Let's face it....
You spent way too much time with AMATEURS and too much time fighting BUMS in you PRIME years.

Take your last payday and retire

It does suck when in forties, in terms of longer recovery time and can't workout as much as used to, I know.

But Gennady has had a great career, made some history at middleweight, and regardless of the final fight in the Canelo trilogy, he's set for life financially.

I'm sure he'll give a great fight, he's still so powerful, as Murata discovered. I think Canelo is planning a vicious body attack, and Golovkin wants to use his jab more and box more intelligently.

I think most of us hopes he can but nobody really believes it

I will always remember GGG for "anybody from 154-168," but "Ward at 164!" Had he neaten Ward @ 168, and Canelo @ 160, he would be an ATG in my book! Hindsight is 20/20! Because he didn't do either, he'll always be a level below B-Hop!

Yeah the Ward request at 168 after being willing to fight Froch (who ducked) at 168 was lame. He wasn’t beating Ward at 168 anyway but he really did beat canelo at 160 if we’re being honest. Shame that the record doesn’t indicate that but it’s the reality of what actually happened in the ring.

He was willing to fight JCC Jr. @ 168 too! However, Ward would've have to come to 164, not 168!

                  40 . . . nearing retirement . . . stepping up in weight . . . .

Sounds a lot like excuses to me.

that’s what I intended to type. 164. He was willing to fight others at 168 but only Ward would’ve had to drop to 164. We all know that those catch weight games are really just ways to duck a fight you don’t want.
