So Hearn cashing this Benn guy out because the promoter don't think can beat certain guys at 147 and Benns looks like 140lber so move up two weight classes ******** on his power and quickness. Scum promoter for that

Yeah I know all that. And he's always been manoeuvred towards a vacant belt. But right now he is practically guaranteed a shot at a vacant belt. If he loses, he will probably be moved down the rankings out of reach of that. Also if he wins he may well find himself suddenly ranked at 160. Especially with the WBA which may be his best chance. And the WBA are too easily influenced by Haymon and he would just love an excuse for Benn to lose his ranking. There's a host PBC fighters right on Benn's tail.

We do know about benn's. He's had it broken by a journeyman at welter

Who does Hearn not think he can beat?

Nice scrap. I just don't wanna hear any complaints from either side about making the contracted weight. Some guys sign contracts that weight drain them, but they start complaining a week or two outside of the fight date as though fans are supposed to care about how hard it is to cut the weight.

This one has some history to it, so it's definitely worth the watch!

Lol pointless fight the only reason this is even happening is because of their fathers who were actually great fighters. Benn is unproven at 147 yet he wants to fight Earbanks at 156? makes no sense. They are banking on Earbanks being weight drained which is most likely the case because he used to fight at 168 and now he's going to make 156 clean I don't see it ending well. He can't even shave his head to make weight because he has a tattooed hairline. All jokes aside Earbanks is still going to be the much bigger guy I could see this looking like Golovkin vs Brook if he can make the weight safely. What is with these Brits selling their souls for a paycheck? Oh wait Benn grew up in Spain/Australia.

That means nothing. Fury's chin has been broken plenty of times and he's still winning.

It's actually a win/win for him, not that big of a risk.
Ask nick blackwell how much of a risk it is

As if a small welter hits harder than George Groves. Jr's never looked hurt in his whole career. Little Conor Benn won't stop him

It's a shame that two undeserving guys like these get a PPV slot and millions of pounds to boot. Jr. has beaten nobody and always run from anything stiff, Benn has fought absolutly no-one and there is 2/3 weight divisions difference. This really is a sad time for boxing. There are weight divisions for good reason , the fighters and promoters are really taking the p.iss here!
