Alright I watch boxing.... Ultimate..... you both know the rules here. You know the rules.... I expect a good clean fight, no hitting below the belt. In case of a knockdown, you will go to a neutral corner. The people have come here to watch and get involved in a good, clean, hard fought debate, so lets show 'em one. Touch gloves and come out at the bell.......Rockin'

Gomez is considered the best fighter ever in his natural weight class in which he doimnated, than moved up to face Sal Sanchez.

Duran wasnt old, you fool, Benitz was his 3rd loss after Lenoard, first lost was to a PR
        http://www.boxrec.com/boxer_display.php?boxer_id=000080

So if Pacman beat Barrera so brutely, what you think he gonna do to Morales, thats two of your top fighters.

And the PR wins by KO of the Mexican

Moved up to face Sal Sanchez and then....what happend?

Again if you knew anytthing you would know Duran was at hist years earlier when he was a LIGHTWEIGHT.

Is Pac PR? cause last I checked the answer to that question would be NO

So you make a big deal about Hopkins beating Trinidad, but it happened to one of yours too just recently(soon to be two), and last time I checked hes not on hopkins level cause Pac was KO'd twice before.
Sal Sanchez beat him, KO'd him 8th RD, they had a rematch ready but you know, so who really knows, if Duran could come back from a loss, so can Gomez.

              Non-flame

Well my intention was never to create a flame thread, rather i was looking for comprehensive analysis on fighters from both countries. While i'm of Mexican Descent, i have many Puerto Rican friends, and i respect their fighters. I Don't like Tito, but i always enjoyed watching "chapo" cuz he was a bulldog. I don't like Barrera cuz he talks down to Mexicans who aren't from the D.F. (he called Morales a sixth grade drop out). For being a small litle island PR has a great ratio, but IMO Mexico eeks it out.

                WTF

I dont have to make a big deal of Hopkins beating Tito I cant talk about how DLH clowned him. I talk about Tito reaction to that loss certianly not the reaction of a warrior.

Yes we do know how a Sanchez/Gomez fight would have turned out it would have turned out just like the first one.

Well, thats to remain to be seen, how it stands, Gomezs record is more impressive than Sanchez, one loss to a guy doesnt automactly make you a loser or nothing their both great, I just saying record wise he was better, it would never be known what would of happened in a rematch.

I understand he retired after trying to get a rematch, but he never quit inside the ring, and thats where it counts, he gave boxing fans many years of exciting fights, if he was hurt inside he deserved to deal with it.

Im sorry did you just say Gomez had a more impressive record than Salvador Sanchez? You dont need a rematch to tell you who was better. The first fight was a dominate performance by Sanchez

He retired because he knew he had no shot at Hopkins save me that whole Hopkins didn't want a rematch BS. Hopkins did'nt even break a sweat the first time.

Nither did Pacman, and hes gonna do the same to Morales, two of your best out by a guy who was KO'd two times before, and Oscar ran from Trinidad in their fight, be very proud, and lost to Sturm, like Chavez had the ref stop the fight at 5 sec's till the end so he could win.
