Mexico has had more champions, obviously, mainly due to the demographic factor. I mean, we do have 10 times their population (or more, I don't know)

But as far as what country has had the best fighters, I think it's a tossup. It's true that in the biggest fight featuring a Puerto Rican and a Mexican, Salvador Sanchez demolished Wilfredo Gomez. But it's also true that Wilfredo had previously beaten the great Carlos Zarate, and then went on to beat another Mexican great, Lupe Pintor.

We have had more champions, no question about it. But in terms of quality, like for example, our 10 best vs. their 10 best, it's a tossup.

That **** was funny. B-hop had to run out in a hurry. If that would of been the Mexican flag he would of been taken out by the La M. Another thing that we all need to see is that Mexico has a huge soccer league Puerto Rico has a baseball league but I think Mexico can match it.Iwatchboxing is nothing wrong backing his country men Im very guilty of the same.

Genaro Hernadez was a fringe p4p fighter in the late 90's. He was destroyed and quit against DLH and was embarressed against Floyd Mayweather.

Soko for starters you wouldn't dare say what you just said to a PR in his face. Stop hiding behind that computer monitor. And you guys maybe right. Mexicans do have more fighters than PR's and the soul basis for that is because that is probably the only Mexicans can make it thru their life times in Mexico and that's also the only way Mexicans can get out of the country with out having to cross the river or the dessert border. I for one never wanted to result to this turning into a feud but, too many of you are coming on here trying to be slick at the mouth and diss PR's. I think the higher the weight is the better the Puerto Ricans are than the Mexicans. I say this because I think Puerto Ricans are naturaly bigger than Mexicans. But in the lower weight classes the Mexicans are great.
