Aside from Fielding and Liam, who has Canelo knocked down with a body shot, much less stopped in 10 years? It's literally so many people's prediction before his fights, yet anyone who isn't a domestic level British fighter, Canelo isn't putting anyone down. I don't get where this devastating, mythic level body puncher narrative came from, but his track record proves otherwise. I guess people love predicting it that in the off chance it finally happens they go "see I told you."

What a “bold” prediction. Its not like Canelo has literally every single advantage possible, and will enter the ring with a huge weight advantage. Canelo waited for Ggg to age with obvious diminished skills despite all the supposed anger and animosity he has. Is just like a “cherry-pick” at this stage 4 yrs later. At least Ggg gets nice retirement payday.

Cleneloterol couldn't stop a broken down Kovaquit in 6 rounds, how is he going to do it to GGG?

Hopkins is the worst predictor of fights on the planet, oh no I'm wrong it's actually Carl Froch, these two are the thickest on the planet

so you wouldn’t classify Leonard or Hopkins as granite chinned despite both of them not being stopped until their very last fights and despite both facing multiple hall of fame level opponents? Quite interesting.

GGG has a crazy chin. If there’s a stoppage I think it would be more like 10, 11, or 12th round.

BHop also said Canelo would beat down Bivol, and we all know what happened there.

But sure, Golovkin has been hurt to the body, but he's also very tough. I can see it going the distance again, but if there's a tko, it would be more likely for Canelo.

Too much though made of his stoppages of Plant and Saunders, they're good but not the same level as GGG.

Most people who can handle Canelo’s power can beat him. He doesn’t have a particularly high work rate but he trusts that when he lands a shot, you will fold. Last time these guys fought GGG was retreating which he hadn’t done in any fight before. Chances are he felt Canelo’s shots and that’s not a good sign. Canelo is stronger now and GGG is older. GGG defends with his face and he might not like what Canelo is cooking. I think this is all about getting a pension for GGG.

He would literally step back and pivot away, hardly what I would consider retreating. He made Canelo miss wildly multiple times just by giving himself distance. The majority of the fight was fought around the center of the ring. You guys say he defends with his face but when he actually doesn't, it gets called "retreating." Make up your mind. He got pushed back more by Stevens than he ever did against Canelo.
