I knew this was going to happen the second DAZN was announced to the world. Pay 1 price for everything? That's not much different than when MoviePass came out and went down in flames. You would pay 1 price for a MoviePass per month and watch unlimited movies in the theater. How was that NOT going to fail? They probably banked on most people won't actually watch that many movies but just pay monthly to the point where they would have more incoming coming in than going out.
Now with DAZN, it's like, they figure, they lure enough subscribers in, they can rack up those monthly reoccurring payments or better yet lock in those yearly subscriptions. Then eventually get to the point where you're still paying and didn't cancel your subscription but fail to realize the quality of fights or amount of fights going down. Not all subscribers are ****** and would unsubscribe the second they don't like what's to offer. These are the ones that hurt them the most.
It’s 12 dollars a month . Those who like to watch boxing won’t cancel those who do will be the ones you see on here crying about the price and those same ones will purchase a over priced PPV when they get the same thing on DAZN .
Me personally I’ve saved a money load worth by thousands really when past events would have been PPV ,it’s actually the lack of followers that are just now making them up the price ,yet here we are on a boxing forum discussing a app that gives us more boxing content. It’s not surprising the hate is real.
It's a con from the start. Luring people in before increasing the monthly cost and then putting the fights people want to see on PPV. Same as Sky Sports.

I think it is the opposite. When companies have subscriptions at a discount price of a season pass for that matter they like to cover the break even number to support the business. They have to raise prices because they don't have enough subscribers.
The way that it was before was very attractive that you got the ppv without paying for them. Now not only the basic form is more you have to pay for PPV. Not going to pay extra to watch Garcia vs Tagoe or a bunch of local UK fights.
my renewal was up in may, realized i bought DAZN like 2 years earlier for Canelo vs GGG when i think it was only $60 a year, that was a good deal at the time, a PPV fight plus a whole year plus I liked the high def fight archives they had.
they already raised the price once but i liked access to the archives. their commentary and shows were ****** and those guys they have barak or whatever dont know **** about boxing.
then they raised the prices yet again but also made canelo vs bivol a full PPV cost, what the *** is even the point then? what am i paying for DAZN then if you going to charge full PPV prices?
So i cancelled that chit and just ******ed the fight, *** them. I would pay for it if it was reasonable but as a business they have ***ed it up.
Same exact thoughts, especially about Ak & Barack. Nice guys but how in the world did they get that gig?
