And it's not as if LSC shouldn't beat wood. It's just that Haymon is so childish and petty and won't work with Hearn. You don't have to like him. Just get the business done.
Why was the splitbso favorable to Wood? I've seen people posting the WBA rules on Twitter. 75% for the champion, 25% for the challenger looks standard.

Yeah but I think that's for a standard defence. In the WBAs eyes he's a world champion also, and so I'm presuming was entitled to more. The WBA have moved the goalposts. At the end of the day, I just wanna see the fight. I don't care who gets paid what. But it seems unfair on Wood. Especially in light of the excessive time he's had to wait for this fight to be finally getting pushed through. And as you have posted, you don't think this fight happens. That may be so. But it should be at the expense of LSC being stripped. If they squirm out of this again, then the WBA once again show how disgraceful they are.

There's nothing left to squirm out of

True. If the rumors are right I could see Hearn allowing a unification so Wood can defend the WBA World.

I'm not so sure. They seem to be set on staying the course for this fight. That's certainly Leigh Woods opinion. And if he doesn't fight LSC then who? Warrington is going to have to face up to his mandatory at the end of the year.

Maybe Hearn pays up for it. Wood is the only guy to actually improve with Ben Davison. I'd like to see him in his corner.

Yeah he's the one that has really came on under Davison. Good shout.

I actually thought Leo was doing pretty well vs Tank. Until he got pole axed.

And the saga for the regular champion to try to become the super champion started before Wood appeared, as Xu was trying to get upgraded or fight LSC before that. It's time this consolidation fight happened for once and for all. If that super title was in the hands of another fighters hands of non PBC acquisition, they would have had to defend,or vacate a long time ago. See Josh Taylor for reference.
I understand what you're saying but didn't they strip Chris Colbert of that secondary title, and order him to fight Gutierrez? Then Gutierrez got sick, and Garcia stepped in, and whooped my man Colbert like he stole something! With that win, is Hector Garcia recognized as the "Regular" champion? Nope! So when Wood won, why did he assume the title of "Regular?" That's not a Haymon fighter. Why is Ryad Merhy a CW "Regular" Champion? Is he a Haymon fighter? Then this happens just recently:

Daniel Dubois Blasts Out Trevor Bryan in Four, Captures WBA Title
                      June 11, 2022

Daniel Dubois didn’t waste any more time after waiting nearly a year for this opportunity. The heavy-handed Brit claimed the secondary version of the WBA heavyw

Why did he assume a secondary title, but Hector Garcia didn't? DuBois is not a Haymon fighter, and neither was Bryan! So I think the bigger problem is the WBA, not Al Haymon!
