Not once in any clip did they show his eyes straight on. None of us know what his eyes looked like. There has been boxers literally out on their feet yelling about stoppages. No boxer is going to be quiet about a stoppage. For all we know his eyes were still rolled up into the back of his head. Guess we’ll never know without a camera angle straight on.

Glad he was stopped can’t stand him. He would have been crippled had that ref allowed it to continue. His trainer won’t STFU

I actually liked the point Barthelemy’s trainer made to Gray- fans were robbed , Bathelemy was robbed but Russell was robbed of a chance to prove he’s top tier.

Instead it’s a bad stoppage that takes away from a solid fight.

There are several noticeable material differences that stand in contrast to your point. Most notably that other sports, like the NFL have an overarching unifying commission for which all owners have selected to govern over them and work in conjunction with throughout.

Did you see what his eyes looked like? No, because there was no camera angle showing his eyes straight on. For all we know is his eyes were all over the place when spoken to by the ref.
