    Showtime pursued another fight because GBP wouldn't bend over on the broadcasting rights even though in the past they did joint ventures with other promotional outfits. Showtime didn't want to collaborate and priced themselves out, facts. GBP didn't stop the fight, they just didn't accept the deadline.

    Sure DAZN is popular un the UK, but they already pay a subscription and the Brits are making a big deal out of AJ vs Usyk II being a PPV so like they're going to pay for Mungo vs Charla? I think not. GBP knows the market and additionally they know Mexican TV for Mungo isn't doing shit either.
    Showtime has done joint PPV's for fight like Mayweather-Pacquiao. We're talking about Charlo-Munguia here.

      As well as =--->
      • PBC's Andy Ruiz Jr. challenged Anthony Joshua for the heavyweight title on DAZN
      • PBC's Shawn Porter challenged Terence Crawford for a welterweight title on ESPN+ pay-per-view
      I'm sure there is more as well.

          You're right, I'm wrong on that. I'm sure there was some sort of acceptable financial agreement.

              And I made 3 million when Horn beat Pacquiao. What's that got to do with anything?

              In the over 35 years of Showtime boxing, they've done two joint PPVs. LEWIS vs TYSON and MAYWEATHER vs PACQUIAO. That's it. Charlo vs Munguia isn't a big enough fight for a joint PPV. Showtime offered the most money for the fight and agreed to let Charlo do a rematch on DAZN if he lost. Golden Boy killed the fight.

                It's a known fact showtime don't want to work with anyone outside there circle.

                  Networks work together for something BIG and Profitable like Lennox Lewis vs Mike Tyson, Mayweather vs Pacquiao...Not for F^cking Jermall Charlo vs Jamie Munguia which I don't even think is PPV Worthy so why TF do you need both networks involved like this is some Mega Fight

                  Cut the BS! Both fighters agreed, Oscar came with "Oh DAZN Must Be Involved" and Espinoza said "F^CK YOU We're The Ones Putting Up All The Money..." and rightfully so

                      A friend offered me 5 to 1 odds on Horn. I knew it was the last fight on Pacquiao's Top Rank contract and that winning a decision would be impossible since he wasn't re-signing with Top Rank. Same thing happened in the Bradley fight when Pacquiao tried to leave Top Rank.
