My only wish is that we could’ve been able to see them both in their respective primes at the same time. GGG has little to no chance now that he is 40 years old. He was already late with the first 2 fights! Wish he was Nelo's age. If by chance, and it’s slim to none, Canelo loses the fight; he is gonna need to go beyond rebooting his career. He should probably call it a wrap if he were to lose this fight, imho.

Not only did the loss to Bivol bring him back to reality, it has damaged his psyche, he's already changed his story a few times on what happened, and what he's going to do.
Although Canelo is definitely a very good boxer, and a devastating puncher, it's evident that he's not the best boxer, nor is he in the top 5 of the p4p ranking.
He might squeeze in at the bottom of the top ten p4p, but that's it the 17 years, 61 fights, surgery, wear, and tear, as well as the moving up in weight, are doing him in at the early age of 32.
You've got to give him all the credit in the world for trying to accomplish greater feat's within his career, but has gotten some controversial decision's in his favor, avoided certain fighters in the later stages of his career, and he's messing with the big boy's now.
He should be able to beat the much older GGG, at this point in their career's, but going into the future 2023, and beyond will end up with Canelo acquiring more defeats on his record.
If my analysis is correct by this time next year he'll have at least one more loss on his record, only time will tell, but Canelo is slowing down, and fighting in spurts.

Canelo lets all those screaming women and kids in the front row gas up his head to the point where he thought he was some p4p#1 type fighter with devastating power. The reality is Canelo is a slow footed, one dimensional, average power fighter with appalling stamina.

Canelo definitely had a wakening from Bivol loss but because he realized he trained wrong dieted wrong etc. Canelo is a true champion love's challenges a takes risks unlike some who just Cadillac with their comfort zones

Canelo did what he always does and that's dared to be great. Every fight he has he is making history no shame losing to the best at 175 in Bivol. Remember Canelo is a jacked up middleweight I am just incredibly excited to see this third fight with GGG. I like Golovkin a lot but feel Canelo is going to be extremely motivated and beat GGG easily.

Bro the reality was Canelo is on the tier list of a Cotto, Mosley etc .. those were very great fighters, but Nelo was acting like he belongs to Pacman/Floyd tier before he lost to Bivol, that's entirely another talent higher than everybody.

My theory on what inflated his ego was when great fighters go for European tour, usually what happens is they go on impressive runs, a lot of KOs happens, a lot of schooling happens, this is specially true when great fighters face a lot of western Europeans, those guys for whatever reasons have weaker chin and they easily give up. A lot of fighters did this in the past including the great Miguel Cotto, the Sugar man himself Ray Robinson and they all had impressive runs, lots of knockouts and superb performance. Miguel Cotto has even revived his career by doing this European tour.

Hype is still there. I feel like the media is going to memory hole this L. Maybe that's acceptable. I mean given his size he shouldn't be fighting above 160.. Regardless Canelo is like GM. Too big to fail.
