Absolutely, he may have went too far this time. What's the return for them on him? He's not winning another belt, expects 1M for sporadic mismatches, boring AF as an opponent, and a complete meat propeller out the ring.

Can't imagine he has much goodwill left. Have fun going to another promoter-you will be fed to someone who will decapitate your ignorant ass. He will be dead or in jail very shortly after boxing, let's just hope he doesn't hurt anyone else at that point.

This. A lot of guys like him. When they are young they can make big weight cuts. Then as they get older and move up a class or two to guys their actual size then they are B level at best and have to be very carefully matched or its over for them.

I don't know the answer to your question but I was in a Walmart yesterday and AB comes in looking frantic! starts asking people where he threw that change years back!

Have you watch any of his last fights. He hasn't won in years . It's brutal, to watch. His work rate is that of a 65 yo. Hes only fighter on roster with loss after loss for years str8. Some kind of sad pet project for Uncle Al and Co.

What is this guys greatest feat? Beating Demarco? Everyone else prior to 2013 were overmatched (Litzau, Rees)or close (see Paulie & Ponce). Point is all he’s been is HYPE and his big ass mouth that people want shut up. aerie hasn’t been at his peak since 2013 literally.

PLease stop. The reason he doesn’t “let his hands go” is he doesn’t want to get hit. When you punch you’re vulnerable to be hit. This is why since 2013 against tough opponents( Vargas, Garcia, Porter, Pac, Santiago lol)once he gets tagged he goes into a turtle shell. Oh before someone says “are knocked Porter down). Yep. Flash knockdown on a fight he barely was competitive in and had it not been for that knockdown, he would have lost the last round

This dude is a PBC mascot. His big mouth can generate some interest but even his faithful have moved on from him.

                -not a gym rat
-too Undisciplined to make anything below 140
                -zero POP at 147lb

jes basically a journeyman at this point.

I won’t be surprised if it’s a dud of a fight or a barn burner. Omar, 5 years ago, would’ve turned it into a dog fight. We shall see

Idk what Broner has left but I feel this is going to be a tremendous fight. They both have something to prove, Figueroa when he's fit, throws a lot of hard shots from weird angles and Broner doesn't yield. He never comes to get beat up and he can throw heat when he's fit and ready. Not as busy as Omar, but way sharper and more skilled. Helluva fight between two proven warriors
