      Dont forget the TUE's too.
as for JMM, i agree with him to a certain point. The non boxers should be figting in celebrity exhibitions.

This is all part of Marquez's master plan to get Jake Paul to call him out for that big pay day. Nash out.

It has happened since the beginning of boxing. Who does JMM think those opponents with the label of “Debut” on them in boxrec who never fought beyond that debut loss are?

Also those fighters with a crazy looking loss column and single digit in the win column.

          Those are all “non boxers”.

They are not stealing any money.

If they were not around, “real” fighters would not attract the casuals “fake” fighters attract. Therefore they wouldn’t generate the same revenue and couldn’t make the same money.

Example: Roman Gonzalez has never been a PPV fighter, he never had the star power, before or after the Paul’s arrived.

This is the same as lazy Americans claiming illegal Mexicans were stealing their jobs. Because you know Americans were lining up to break their backs in construction, agriculture or the low wage food industry.

It’s only disrespectful if people claim that the celebrity boxers, or the celebrity boxers themselves, are P4P stars in the sport.

Then it’s disrespectful. If you make these bouts and shows out to be more than they really are, then it’s a problem.

If everyone stays grounded and understands that it’s all for fun, then I think it’s fine and could actually help the sport grow some new fans by attracting new casuals who might enjoy celebrity boxing, become interested, and cross over and watch competitive boxing.

Well, Dinamita, we can trace the decline squarely to the loss of HBO.

So, instead of taking pennies from ProBox, maybe use your influence to help fix things.

Can't we go back to the repectable days of Ali being kicked in the shins by a Japanese wrestler lying on his back?
