No one is forcing someone to attend those exhibitions.
How are these effecting boxers ?

Go to work every day and have to step over idiots and wanna be's it will effect you that is how. Spend your life perfecting your craft and all the media falls over the dummy with the biggest mouth that is how it effects boxers but more is how it effects the fans of boxing. The fans get less of the real deal is how, the promoters believe that everyone who watches boxing will fall for every and any little pc of garbage they tag as a real and important fight. Less and less effort is put into decent and available fights to the general public. Those are a few reasons of why I dont like these clown shows you speak of as if you dont like them dont buy them. It is like saying I dont like drug dealers on my block and someone says " If you dont like them dont buy them" follow my way of thinking now ?

If you ''perfected'' your craft and youtubers are still able to still your spotlight, I guess that version of perfection is faulty.

I agree with the great Juan.

However I also feel that fighters going around claiming robbery when thoroughly dominated is bad for the sport.

I’m not a huge Bradley fan but and I’m actually more of a Marquez fan and I was rooting for Marquez but IMO he acted like a crybaby that night.

theres a gap in the market as theres no personalities in the sport and the best fighters generally dont enter in 50/50 fights. call me a casual but im more interested in watching something like paul v rahman then garcia beating up some bum where he is 1/50 favourite

There's room for everyone
Those crying for boxers who's pockets are being picked are silly
The sport has always been feast and famine.
Stars; making big money
Schlubs; trying to make ends meet while chasing his dream
Every now and then a star will need a tune up victim (enter the schlub).

I guess this is why boxing allows mismatches.
How else will schlubs get paid real money unless they take a beating ?
