No, Crawfish should keep beating much smaller fighters like Shakur.

A few years ago people made alot of fuss over Lubin ,until Charlo sparked him, and now after the beating he took from Fundora he likely will never be the same. I could see Fundora and Boots meeting eventually, possibly at 160

Boots, the way he fights with his chin up in the air eating flush punches for no damn reason, gets stopped inside 9 by Crawford.

It'd be Rocha vs. Cobbs all over again.

As Shawn Porter said, Boots is overrated.

Who people were hyping when he first came through simalier to boots because he was athletic and powerful and people were saying this could be the guy but as the opponents got tougher he started to show big flaws and his career just was up and Down
Good point I honestly forgot how the hype was building behind Berto when he came on the scene I think he was due to face Sugar Shane? But it got cancelled because of a disaster in his homeland

I remember at that point everyone was waiting to see if Berto was going to live up to the hype

Ennis feels different tho I think everyone feels hes going to be in that Roy Jones and Mayweather kind of league of talent

Stop it already! You should know better by now that the sport DOES NOT work like a fantasy league- something similar to your wishes above. Boots doesn't even need to be mentioned until the elites of the division face one another and he's actually fought somebody of note.

The man hasn't even been tested yet and his team and gym buddies are doing the proverbial "pitbull" talk as though they're holding him back from attacking others. Again, Boots has NOT been tested yet.

"B-b-b-but nobody in da division wanna fight him doe. Dey scared of Boots! Dey running from Boots!" Listen, there are tiers of opponents for a reason in each division. He's fought smaller men thus far and I'm just not as overly convinced as some of you are that he's great. He still has to prove that at some point...even when he is in position to face bigger names.

Again, Boots is a great talent but we need to allow him to grow while we push the bigger names to face one another.

It's OK if you don't see it yet, but some of us do! I knew what Sweet Pea had in the Olympics! I didn't need to see Floyd beat Oscar to know what I was looking at! IMO Boots is the next Bud Crawford, but BIGGER & STRONGER! Floyd, Bud, and Errol know too! That's good enough for me!

Once he gets a belt, they'll line up! Right now, no one sees the need to get that work!

First Ortiz has to master the scales! I think I would've moved him up after getting "rhabdo" trying to make 147! He's too young for that!

Win or lose, I think Spence is going to 154.
Crawford, I don't know, he might stay at 147 or, more likely, chase more titles at 154.
Ortiz definitely hasn't got long left at 147, it's more a matter of he's able to secure a title before moving up.
Ennis doesn't appear to be struggling as much with the weight yet.
Crawford already said he wants Jermell Charlo! That's personal! Not sure if I would have let Vergil stay at 147 after nearly dying to make 147! I might have moved him up to 154 now. However Vergil has the same problem @ 147, that he will have at 154! Who does he fight? He could've forced a fight with Crawford! Wouldn't have been a good look, but he could have. If Oscar can't get Garcia a fight with Tank, Vergil should leave GBP as soon as he can!

And just how many fighters have we crowned as "the next" guy to dominate? And how many times has that not come to pass? You guys get on here and "love bomb" the first undefeated fighter you see, then talk crap about him when things don't go as planned.

Again, stop getting all excited about a fighter who hasn't proven himself yet. They ALL get a chance to prove themselves at some point, his time just isn't right now- there's bigger fish to fry at 147.

You can mask your foolishness with your Sweet Pea memories....I'm talking about the present moment. Too many of you are using past standards to try and define what goes on in the sport today....it's okay to grow with the times. Yes, some things do change over time, but as we've seen in boxing....not much changes when it comes to how fickle fans are.
