Problem is golden boy are not doing themselves favours by staying with dazn. They were a solid outfit on hbo, that’s not the case on dazn. Golden boy and matchroom don’t even seem hot on working with each other because of their respective promoters. Matchroom is in a better position on dazn, gbp isn’t. No one’s lining up to sign with gbp, they are for pbc, top rank, and matchroom. It’s sad to see what’s happened to gbp, it really is. All of their fighters of substance have to look outside that promotion for title shots or any meaningful fights. That being the case, DLH is worse off than Haymon, heard, or arum. All of them are in better positions than him. He made a mistake resigning with them. He took the safe route. I’ll give you the last word on this for a while, don’t want to monopolise the thread for just our admittedly gentleman conversation.

You make a fair point pal. But it's still a huge country, and in relation to that, they should still do better, particularly, as these two should be above the dime a dozen bracket surely. Josh Taylor, does 14k in Glasgow. And there a probably states in America with a bigger population than Scotland as a whole, so these guys should do better. And in the case of Garcia, he probably does a lot less, in a pre social media era. Same too for Davis to an extent. Guys like Taylor and Kambosos, don't do much social media, so their support is a genuine sport based support.
Well in all fairness he should, he’s from a country that doesn’t often have world class contenders let alone world champions whereas these American champions are a dime a dozen as they say here in the usa. Folks have to stop trying to ignore than about American boxing. Americans have generally DOMINATED the sport at many weight classes going back two centuries. If the usa had one or two (especially extremely good) champions every 10-20 years, it would be a “less you have the more it’s worth” scenario like it is with so many other nationsComment

Not a bad idea. Problem is, what if it's one of those scenarios when, after the first fight, the general opinion is, there's really no need for a second. Whoever gets second loses out on numbers.Comment

There has only been around 5 fights that have had co promotion in history. There's fights aren't big enough to have co promotion, nobody but GB is insisting on that. Showtime is big enough and will pay for big fights
What your accusing DLH of, by shooting down deals, by insisting on Dazn involvement, is exactly what PBC are guilty of, by shooting down deals, by insisting on Dazn non involvement. It's the same practice. The point is, their supposed to work together for the common goal.Comment

Boxing politics has become a burden for boxing fans. Just figure out a way to make the big fights--and don't be greedy. The fighters are the ones who should make the most money. They are still stalling on Spence-Crawford after several years. It is BLLSHT.Comment

Floyd & Uncle Al don’t want the fight..
The fight hasn’t matured as of yet anyway..
the fight is capable of doing 2 million buys with the appropriate setup..
First step in getting Ryan onto DAZN PPV & building up his fanbase to become normalized with spending money to watch his fights on TV.Comment
